We moved my brother to Wells Point Lodge in early April. Everything has gone so well. He seems happy here and no complaints. Originally he planned to have meals in his room but the first day they encouraged him to eat in the dining room and meet the other residents. Now he eats all his meals there unless he is not well. The staff is so friendly and upbeat especially [name removed] and [name removed]. I love the activities offered even though he doesn’t participate much. The family events are especially nice - like a barbecue in early May. Lots of the staff’s family come to help and it is well attended by the residents families too. I couldn’t be happier and it is such a relief to me that I don’t need to worry about him because he’s getting such good care
Maintenance has been very slow to respond from what I have observed and heard from my loved one. Overall I would for sure recommend Affinity at South Park Meadows for active seniors.
My husband and I moved here in May 2021. We absolutely love it. The management is amazing. Whatever you need they are on it. The amenities are great. Never a dull moment. There is always something to do. Yes, some things get canceled, but that is because management cares about us. With all the illness going on, it’s good not to have large crowds, so bigger events like Happy Hour get canceled. The people here are fantastic. They really look out for their neighbors. When I had to quarantine, there was no shortage of people willing to pick things up from the store for me as my husband was hospitalized for several months. I’ve never met a more caring group. Even management checked on me daily. I thank God for leading us to Affinity and I hope to live here for many years to come.
