They help as much as possible individually. I would like to see more daily planned community group activities. Very good place for Assisted living they take good care of loved ones. Keowee Square is such an amazing Community. The staff is exceptional and show they care about our loved ones and us as families as well. You are greeted from the time you step in the door to the time you leave the building. The Executive Director who oversees the entire building and does such a phenomenal job at it. Maintenance ensures everything runs properly and is very knowledgeable. The housekeeper always ensures the rooms are cleaned and smelling fresh. The Med tech that works first shift Monday- Friday is very passionate about what she does and is very knowledgeable as well. Keowee Square treats us like family.
The people who are working very hard here deserve to have credit given such as the nurses. They are lovely and have been so unbelievably kind. It has improved since we first got there. In the beginning they were very understaffed but they had a new director come in and it has made a huge difference. There was one nurse here, [name removed] who changed everything for everybody. She genuinely cares about the residents. I would want others to know when looking into Brookdale that they have a different ranges of lifestyle levels. In the end, they did such a good job keeping everybody safe.
