I would tell a friend, it's fine as long as they don't need a lot of help. My mom fell a lot and needed more help than could safely be provided. Everyone there was nice.
Everyone is very nice. The only problem I have is maintenance. I reported a new key for the room was needed and it took weeks to get one, her leaking toilet has been reported and two weeks later it still leaked, they just put a urine catcher under the pipe to catch the water. The room air-conditioning unit filter has needed cleaned since the day she moved in. She is happy there as the food is great and they make sure there is always something she could do.
