I would tell a friend, it's fine as long as they don't need a lot of help. My mom fell a lot and needed more help than could safely be provided. Everyone there was nice.

Royal Estates of Wichita Falls
4.6 / 5.0

They accepted my daughter, which is Mentally Challenged & Physically Disabled. Also, they accepted my husband, which made a total of 3 residents. I would definitely recommend Royal Estates!

Brookdale Sikes Lake in Wichita Falls, TX
4.6 / 5.0

Everyone is very nice. The only problem I have is maintenance. I reported a new key for the room was needed and it took weeks to get one, her leaking toilet has been reported and two weeks later it still leaked, they just put a urine catcher under the pipe to catch the water. The room air-conditioning unit filter has needed cleaned since the day she moved in. She is happy there as the food is great and they make sure there is always something she could do.

There is not much of a "community" feeling that we had at Royal Estates. Nice and clean, but not as welcoming. And they just went up on their prices, too.

Excellent facility. Would have met our needs for memory care unit and aging in place, however price far exceeded prospective resident's allotted budget (private pay).

This was Mom's first choice. She wanted to come here, but she didn't qualify. She needs to gain a little bit of health first. Hopefully we will be able to come here, it was highly recommended.
