Elison of Lake Wellington

I would say my father had a very positive experience.

Elison of Lake Wellington is a wonderful facility. They have a great staff, they are caring, helpful and friendly. The residents are happy because this is a happy place. The dining experience is an excellent one. Kudos to the chef. An Amazing place to live.

I would tell a friend, it's fine as long as they don't need a lot of help. My mom fell a lot and needed more help than could safely be provided. Everyone there was nice.

I am thankful to be here. Everyone who works here is very nice. Helpful. The food is good. All the service is very very good.

It seemed to fit my father's needs as being an active senior at the time. Very clean and welcoming environment.

I am currently a resident at Elison of Lake Wellington and my experience at this facility has been great. The staff is very helpful, kind and respectful. The housekeepers are thorough and change your bed sheets weekly. The food, care services and value for cost are great. There are plenty of activities and they are great. Elison of Lake Wellington is a great place to come when someone can no longer stay at home alone due to illness or whatever circumstances. I would recommend The Elison to others.

The facility and staff at Elison of Lake Wellington were very open, friendly and willing to meet our hopes and requirements. The dining is excellent in that it is restaurant style and not cafeteria style. The residents can dine in or take out their meals and the selection and quality of the meals are both wonderful. The staff works with the residents daily and truly care for their residents. The move in was very accommodating. In closing, when you enter the property and facility, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and manicured grounds. The total cost is very reasonable as compared to other nearby facilities with comparable venues. After touring/seeing Elison of Lake Wellington, we felt no need to tour/see any other facilities.

It's great. They are very friendly and inviting. I don't know what they can improve on. As far as activities, I know there are varieties. I would recommend to other families.

The staff is very friendly, loving, and very caring to my father.

The care services is good. They tend to check on my loved one, if they don't come to the dining area. The staff is super nice. My loved one seems to like the food. They do try and encourage, the residents to participate in activites. My love one really loves it there. They have a really nice scenery, in which they have a lake with geese, and ducks. Overall, it is just beautiful.

The facility is arranged nicely and promotes community amongst the residents, staff is friendly, public/common areas are clean and modern, community programs/offerings seem vast, rooms are arranged efficiently for the square footage offered. Staff turnover in housekeeping and transportation seems to be a problem, Director isn't the most friendly, organization seemed lacking during the management transition but seems to be improving. Overall, we would select this community again!

I find the facility and staff delightful.

This is an awesome community. The activities that they make available to the residents are awesome. They have bands come in, people who come in and do the hair and nails. On Sunday they are having a mothers day brunch and for Easter they did something also. They have a group that goes out to exercise and walk it is just an awesome community for my loved one. They always make sure that the activities are posted and they make sure that everyone knows what all activities are going on. The staff are great and nice and always very helpful with any needs that we may have.

My mother is here and everything is absolutely wonderful. It’s a lot better than what I expected. They’re doing everything right and really taking care of my mom. The overall experience has been great. The staff is easy to communicate with and they seem knowledgeable about the kind of care that she needs. I haven’t had a chance to try the food but I’ve been with my mom while she eats and she likes it. Just from what I’ve seen, it looks pretty much well-balanced and nutritious. I’d like to see more vegetables, though. They have a few activities like bible study, bingo, music, and arts and crafts. The facility is kept pretty clean, but there is a part of the community that has a specific odor and I’m not sure what it is. Other than that, I don’t really know what they could improve on; I think they’ve been doing a fantastic job. I would absolutely recommend them.

This community is very good. My mother in law has been doing okay since coming here. There are many activities and social events that are going on, however, my mother in law chooses not to participate in any of that. I am assuming she is eating well I have not heard anything different in that regards. The staff is very friendly and kind. The community is well cared for and looks nice.

Mom is doing great, she got her furniture delivered today and getting settled in. I would absolutely recommend this place. I picked the because the closeness of the community. Being smaller and intimate and not too big. There is enough people to interact. that is nice. The staff know her name and they know everybody's name. She can get out and meet people. The staff wonderful and always offering to help. Always pleasant and friendly. Mom just fell in love with it.

Horizon Bay was amazing and so was the staff. My parents in the end decided to stay in their own home for a while longer. I would have moved to Horizon Bay in a heart beat.

I think the facility is okay. Mom seems to be happy with the staff and the other residents there. I know the food could be a lot better according to her. Other than that, everything else seems to be going okay.

I don't have any complaints at all. I am very happy with the help. She doesn't seem to have any complaints either, and I have asked several times. She is happier and perkier, joining and doing. It's a humongous load off of my mind, I know she is safe and if she falls or something, she has a panic button right there, so I know someone will be right there. I have talked to a lot of people in the area, who have had loved ones here, and I have heard mostly only positive things.
