My loved one lives here and it's wonderful! So much better and more affordable than his last facility. The people here are wonderful. The nurses are so kind and helpful. They have a lot of activities and the residents are interactive. The staff encourages them to be. The memory care unit is a smaller unit and only 20 residents, which is great. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Nursing homes, also called skilled nursing facilities, provide long-term care for seniors with significant physical or mental health conditions, and short-term care to people recovering from an injury or hospital stay. Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home is a complex that houses two or more individuals who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. A nursing home facility provides its occupants with care by registered nurses. These nurses provide maintenance, personal care and other health related services for people who cannot adequately care for their own needs due to their aging.
Nursing homes can be a familiar and comfy living choice for individuals 65 years or older, however nursing homes will allow persons 55 and greater which is for other senior care types.Often times individuals may choose to live in a nursing home over another type of facility due to a mental or physical impairment that makes it difficult for them to accomplish their lifestyle goals. Some services come at an extra cost which can include a private room, unless medically needed, cosmetic and grooming items, and personal reading materials. The most frequent mental disease effecting nursing home residents is dementia, which can cloud their memory recall, decision making abilities, and and their sense of familiarity with their surroundings. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to form or participate in resident groups, get information on services and fees, participate in activities, and to manage your money.
