My experience here was very pleasurable. The staff were extremely kind and helped me to recover very well. I would come back in a second if needed and now consider these people my second family. Thank yall very much!
This is a church-based community and was by far the best value in the market. If resources are tight, you should consider this community. Fees are inclusive - which is a very big deal. I have been happy with the care for my father. The staff is caring and attentive given the size. My father is sharing a room with someone and the space is fine. Private rooms are about 10% more expensive. He likes the menu of the meals that are offered. They have activities and he participates in the ones that he wants.
Northlake House's staff has been amazing. My loved one feels very happy here. I see my loved one enjoying the activities. Each resident has their own room and bathroom. This allows the resident's to feel independent. This is a beautiful and clean community. The residents are able to roam the hallways and feel comfortable doing as they wish, as long as they are not harming anyone else. My loved one loves it here. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. Some of the activities the community offers includes: outings, games, arts and crafts, and more for the residents to participate in.

A nursing home is a complex that provides lodging to two or more persons who have no familial ties to the administrator. A nursing home facility provides its inhabitants with around-the-clock care by registered nurses. These caregivers offer specialized care for seniors who are unable to properly care for their own needs.
Nursing homes can be a familiar and easy care option for individuals 65 years and above, however nursing homes will frequently accept individuals 55 and greater (a rarity in the realm of senior care).Nursing homes are required to provide dietary services, specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), medically-related social services, and a professionallly directed program of activities to residents. Many occupants of nursing homes are individuals with behavioral problems, which can consist of verbal outbursts, resisting care, or a tendency to wander. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to get proper privacy, property, and living arrangements, be treated with respect, have your representative notified about your care, and be free from discrimination. Types of care services and amenities offered at nursing homes might include intravenous or nutrition therapy, 24-hour emergency care, skilled nursing or medical care, and home care (like cooking, cleaning, or help with other daily activities). A large number of occupants tend to be bachelors or widows who have smaller social support groups, and almost 50% of nursing home residents are over 85 years old.
