Loved one required memory care. I reached out for placement and this was the first facility that called me back. Friendly, welcoming, nice tour. Facility is light, cheerful with great leadership and staff. My loved one was well cared for and loved that everyone knew his name. Facility is clean, resident rooms cleaned weekly. They provided excellent assistance to my loved one. Food was tasty. This was our first experience with a Senior living facility and the management and staff at Summerfield set a very high bar.
We chose Prestige Assisted Living because it was nice, clean, and a big facility and the price was good at the time, we got a discount. My parents have a great size room, the memory care rooms are a little on the smaller side. Sometimes I think that they could use improvement on the communication between the staff and the residents. Overall I would recommend to others looking.
Absolute...best care facility in this area (been to others). Wonderful kind staff helping where they can. Beautiful surrounding was not planning to stay but now having second thoughts... Can't say enough I'm very happy here.

A nursing home is an establishment that offers residence to two or more persons who have no personal relation to the administrator. Types of amenities and services offered at nursing homes can include bill pay, social and recreational activities, adult day health care (which offers nursing and therapy) , and monitoring of medication. The most frequent mental issue experienced by nursing home residents is dementia, which can hinder their decision making capacities, and their sense of familiarity with their surroundings, and memory recall.
