Oak Park Place Menasha
5.0

Oak Park Place Menasha has been a great place for my mom. Mom is in the Memory Care area and they really do a nice job. I’d like to specifically call out the Activities staff, they really keep everyone involved, mom really enjoys it there. The facility is very nice, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in need.

The Residence at Oshkosh
3.8

It's a very typical Assisted living place. Nice size apartments, expensive rent with cheap food served cafeteria style. Standing in line waiting for food, like school kids. The ones that are not mobile wait even longer. I would recommend but with reservations.

Aspire Senior Living - Kimberly
4.1

Aspire is a well run facility. Their staff are invested in providing quality care. They're friendly and helpful. We appreciate that they have varied increments of support. The initial independent living costs include 0 to 7 hours of caregiving support at no additional cost. That's the level of care my parents required initially. Now, after residing there for about a year, each is now at the 7 to 14 hours per week. The extra charges for that are reasonable. My parents can remain in their accommodation and each receive up to 28 hours per week of personal care assistance. The three of us adult children think this is wonderful.

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities provide seniors with a convenient balance between an independent lifestyle and not having to concern themselves with housekeeping. Seniors may continue to live their lives as they wish while their meals are cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and social activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they prefer. While policies vary between communities, numerous residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with private care providers if desired. There are an assortment of expenditures and benefits to consider while determining an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are included in the plan: move-in fee, initial assessment fee, utilities, private phone, transportation, laundry, Waiting list deposit, and internet access. The luxuries that pertain to independent living include security guards, golf course, private rental hall, fitness center & swimming pool, beauty salon & barber shop, community activities, restaurant-style dining hall, and laundry service.
