Everyone at Aspire Oshkosh has been extremely friendly and kind. As far as the food goes, they have mostly gourmet-style meals. I think it would be better to have more comfort food- type meals instead. I would recommend this facility to others looking.

Both of my parents had fatal health issues while there. My mom was very active but was only there for 3 months before she was hospitalized. No one from the building asked about her absence. My father, through no fault of the building, fell while I was on a trip and I found him 5 days later. While I don't fault management, I believe a better system of knowing how the Independent care residents are doing on a daily basis would be a good idea. The community is clean and has a nice appearance. The staff members are very friendly. The meals and dining are average, my father never are in the dining room and my mother was there while there were going through problems with keeping staff. My mother enjoyed the activities a lot. I think the value is good for the apartment, activities and meal.

I would recommend it.We needed a place that my loved one could call home as he would be there at a young age for the rest of his life and as he transitions to Medicaid could still continue living in the same facility. [name removed], from A Place for Mom, recommend we check it out and it was absolutely wonderful. A clean, upbeat, and happy place to call home.

They fail to communicate effectively and will try to increase your LOC without a 30 day advance notice of price increase. I would never recommend Aspire.Replace management as well as those at corp level. Even corporate was terrible, they had no desire to communicate nor offer resolution.

Aspire Oshkosh is so great. My mom was only there a year. She was placed in hospice while there and hospice was a contracted staff. The Aspire staff was primary and could not have done more. Mom was allowed to stay in her apartment until she passed. Caring people +. Many tears from the staff when mom passed. They knew her well. That says a lot. I would recommend Aspire with no hesitation.

I would tell others looking into Aspire Oshkosh to make sure to be an advocate for their family member and ask questions. The communication with families and answering of their questions is something this facility really needs to improve on.

This place is very nice! But it should be it is brand new, built in 2020. The staff there are very nice kind, compassionate, and from what I gather know what they're doing. When we were moving [name removed] in, some other relative of another resident came up to me and told me the staff here are great and you can trust them. That was very nice to hear! I would recommend this place to others!
We chose Aspire Oshkosh because of the convenient location and also when my mom walked in the door she said that she felt like she was at home. Nothing else we looked at compared after that. The apartments are a very nice size and they are a pet friendly facility. The food has been hit or miss, some days great some days not the best. Overall we would recommend them to others.

They would not allow, my loved one to use the indoor pool. There was terrible communication with the doctors office. They increased care services costs unexpectedly, and without any notice, they attempted to take out additional funds from my bank account. I removed my loved one from this facility and would not recommend this place to anyone.

The staff are really good. The food is really good. They have a lot of activities, such as trips, museums, shopping trips, bingo, movies, and shows. They put a sheet up with the list of activities. There was a bus trip to see the fireworks on the 4th of July. I like going to Walmart. It is expensive, but I recommend it, and it has been the best out of the last three places that I have been to.

We had a very good tour at Aspire Oshkosh. Our tour guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable - I was impressed with them. As far as amenities and things, they had more than what my loved one needed due to her physical limitations. And they were more expensive than other places we toured. But I wouldn't have minded living there myself!

A Place for Mom has scored Aspire Oshkosh 8.1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
