This community is nice and clean and the grounds are well maintained. The staff is responsive to dad's needs and are friendly. The place seems well managed. He loves the food here he said they feed him well. He's been out for an activity to go get ice cream and enjoyed that. I would highly recommend this community to friends and family.
My complaints may be just related to me and our situation, they are specifically assisted living and my loved one has some dementia. They are not credited for memory care, so they do not provide additional care for people who they have like my loved one. They expect residents to be a little more independent than my loved one is, even though they claim to handle that care. I saw something recently that the residents do and they are still having problems with cold food. Overall we have not been very happy with the experience so far.

An Independent Living Community provides residents the chance to live an independent lifestyle while making sure their care requirements have been fulfilled. Frequent needs such as meal planning and the scheduling of social activities are taken care of, allowing seniors more opportunities to live life as they see fit. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Typically consisting of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but without the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and more time can be spent with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies differ between locations, numerous residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of independent medical providers, they may always do so.
