The care they give him. For the most part, they have a good crew taking care of him and them except for a certain two people. Everyone seems to be very friendly and ask if I need anything. They are very hospitable and that is very much appreciated. A couple of my husbands friends went to see him and they were very impressed with the cleanliness and among other things,

I had two aides that did what I asked them to do about keeping mom moving and for reason she got a sore on her butt from sitting in the wheel care all the time and than got kicked out of Dogwood in May because it was a grade 4. I would not recommend Dogwood Crossing. It was bad, Nurses would lie to my face.

Dogwood Crossing was great, but my mom couldn't adjust. I am bringing her home with me today. Dogwood was a good choice. My brother and I were proud to be able to find such a nice place for mom. I would recommend this facility to others.

The reason we chose Dogwood Crossing is our family member has more flexibility there / isn't confined to a certain bed or space. For an elderly person going through hardships, it's nice to have that flexibility. And I also like that residents can be checked out of the facility for outings if they're healthy enough. I think they do a good job overall. The facility is clean when I come to visit. And the staff are friendly to me, although they do seem a little short-staffed.

The first time I went in there it was clean. They do clean the residents' rooms and the staff are very friendly. They haven't been providing activities as far as I know during the Covid-19 community lock down. They have an eat-in room for all the residents. The food is also good and my husband says he likes it. We feel its a good value for the price.

I am happy with the community being so clean. The staff is really nice and my father likes them. They are always will to work on any improvements. My father likes the food. He is trying to get involved with activities. They need to work on some of the communication issues. We would recommend overall for good care for a family member.

A Place for Mom has scored Dogwood Crossing 8.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
