Even though our loved one has only been there for a short while, the staff have really gotten to know her. Every time our family comes to visit they know us by name, they recognize our face and always greet us with a smile. The staff have no problem keeping us up to date with anything regarding our loved one. We did have a medical concern about a month in and the staff were very quick to notify us and help us with the situation The showed they have swift and quick response time and it says to us they were always paying attention to our loved one even during the night shifts

Independent Living

For many seniors, the financial burden of home ownership might be a deterrent to an independent life. Independent Living Communities provide a convenient solution to this situation. Basic chores such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they see fit, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Typically consisting of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies differ between locations, a number of residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always utilize the services of private health care professionalls. There are an assortment of advantages and expenses to consider while selecting an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are included in your service plan: cable TV, utilities, internet access, field trips, move-in fee, transportation, laundry, and wellness program. The benefits that pertain to independent living include laundry service, community activities, fitness center & swimming pool, security guards, healthcare center, transportation, restaurant-style dining hall, and golf course.
