Atria Oakridge in Raleigh, NC
5.0

Atria Oakridge has brought me wonderful fellowship and wellbeing. The activities keep me busy all day- such as pottery, painting, the games and more. The staff treats you like a real person and as a member of their family. I don't have to cook or clean and I enjoy the variety of food! I can get out in the sunshine to mingle and enjoy this beautiful campus. You wont believe it until you see it! Come and see for yourself!

The Lodge at Wake Forest
4.5

This is the place my loved one, liked when he looked at it. We did have other places we wanted him to look at, but this place had immediate availability and he seemed very happy with this choice. For the minor issues, he's not concerned. As for the cost, he is able to afford it. I personally just think they are all over priced, some way more so than others. We would recommend this place. As I stated my loved one, has told us that he is very happy here. He enjoys talking with the other residents. From our visits it is a very well run establishment, clean, and maintained. We have not seen anything that we would complain about up to this point.

Macon, North Carolina

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities provide seniors with a balance between living an independent lifestyle and not having to concern themselves with the upkeep of basic tasks and responsibilities. Basic chores such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is provided, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they see fit, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Typically comprised of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but without the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way.
