Being out of state we do not get to visit that much, however when we do speak with our loved one she does seem to enjoy the meals and dining service. We do think the overall value for the money is good and based on our experience so far we would recommend the Parkshore Senior Campus to other families.
We chose Bel Rae Senior Living because of the newness of the building, the friendly and helpful staff members, and the overall accommodations as well. He has a 1 bedroom apartment and it is a little on the smaller side if your have more furniture. The food is ok and they keep striving to improve it. Overall, I would recommend to others who are looking.
I think they do a great job at Meadow Woods! The staff here is very friendly and easy to work with. They've been very accommodating in regards to some billing issues we've had in regards to getting funding with the VA straightened out. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they do a great job looking after the people who live here!

Many seniors may be able to live without assistance, but cost of owning a home and the upkeep of daily tasks and chores might deter them from enjoying an otherwise independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities provide a good alternative. Basic tasks such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they see fit, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they choose. While policies vary between locations, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to utilize the services of private medical professionalls, they always have the option. There are a variety of benefits and expenditures to keep in mind while determining an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are covered in the care plan: parking, cable TV, housekeeping, private phone, utilities, Waiting list deposit, field trips, and wellness program.
