The staff is wonderful. However, Dad is independent status and our family handles housekeeping. The food is very good. Sometimes the marketing and office staff give conflicting information. That occurred when we changed dad level of care to independent. We have and will continue to recommend this facility.

They get all the best. The best parts; attitude of the staff, responsiveness, communication of important issues, access of Directors, ability to make my uncle feel well cared for.

Bel Rae is a good place. The move in and application process could not have been easier. My dad loves it there. The staff communication with the family is great. There are three meals. $7 for breakfast and $15 for lunch dinner. There are options to select for each, and it is a sit down restaurant style. Choice of ad hoc selections to eat at will, or set up a meal plan.

They could do better in the following up aspect on questions/situations. They had updated information to provide future residents. They post daily activities for all to see - monthly and individual day posts. We picked this community because, it was the only one that fell in budget range and was south of where I live.

We chose Bel Rae Senior Living because of the newness of the building, the friendly and helpful staff members, and the overall accommodations as well. He has a 1 bedroom apartment and it is a little on the smaller side if your have more furniture. The food is ok and they keep striving to improve it. Overall, I would recommend to others who are looking.
