I have mixed feelings about it but I think we're going to work out the kinks. Communication needs work.I picked it because it's fully staffed and close to my house
We moved my loved one to Lakeview Assisted Living after having a terrible experience at another facility. The experience at Lakeview has been amazing, it is a wonderful place that I would highly recommend to others. Lakeview provides activities for the residents, once in a while an outing. There is a library and a room that has puzzles. The atmosphere is loving and kind.
The staff was very accommodating to my parents needs. My dad was receiving total care for his dementia, but my mom was receiving none. The staff still helped her as needed. She was getting chemo every 2 weeks and the staff knew when she would have bad days and needed care. My mom passed before my dad, which was unexpected. My dad was then moved to the dementia wing and they took very good care of him. There was only one aide that my dad had issues with, and she didn't last long there. The mgmt staff was excellent.
