Mt Pleasant Comfort Care in Mount Pleasant, MI

The staff are so nice and friendly! Very caring and take great care of my uncle! They are always smiling and take such good care of my auntie [name removed]! She enjoys BINGO and their BBQ days! She likes her room just wants a better view! I would recommend this building to anyone in the Mt Pleasant area!

Lakeview Terrace Assisted Living

We have been very pleased with Lakeview Terrace. They quickly became like family and continue to go above and beyond to make mom feel at home.

Green Acres of Mt. Pleasant in Mount Pleasant, MI
4.5

My mother lived in the memory care unit here and we had a great overall experience with them. I was a little concerned with the level of attentiveness of the staff at times. For example, she needs someone to provide water/drinks for her and give her the initiative to drink it, otherwise she will go without. At times she was a bit dehydrated. Otherwise, the community is fabulous! It is very nice, open, and colorful with lots of windows -- a great atmosphere. It is not drab or hospital-like at all. It is a relatively new community, so they are still growing. I would say it would be a great place to go!

Complete guide to independent living

Riverdale, Michigan

Independent Living

If you or your loved one would like the peace of mind of having your chores handled while living your life at your own pace, think about the option of independent living. Residents can live their lives as they desire while their food is cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and recreational activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Typically consisting of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer residences with many of the amenities of apartment life but without the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily tasks out of the way. While policies vary between communities, many residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always enlist the services of independent care providers. There are a variety of expenses and benefits to balance while selecting an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are included in the care plan: internet access, Waiting list deposit, meals, initial assessment fee, parking, private phone, laundry, and cable TV. The luxuries that pertain to independent living include healthcare center, concierge services, security guards, fitness center & swimming pool, beauty salon & barber shop, golf course, laundry service, and private rental hall.
