The team at Crestwood truly are amazing. Dad loves the food variety and the quality of the food. He's always talking about how great the food is. He often mentions how clean they keep his room and [name removed] is always mentioned as helping him out all the time. Finally the activities are great. Every day there are multiple activities for them to do and the posting of photos on Facebook helps those of us that cannot visit regularly. We see the smiling faces every day! Thank you!

September 5, 2024Hi Gerald, We’re glad to hear that your experience is going well. Thank you for your recommendation!
They offer great activities and food classes. Most of the residents do need to be prompted a little more to join in the activities.

Crestwood is excellent. . Mom says the meals aren't as good as when she first moved in. She seldom goes to the dining room to eat, she mainly stays in her room unfortunately. She takes part in some activities but not many. Lots are offered.

June 11, 2024Hello, Thank you for your review, and we're delighted to hear that you're finding our community to be excellent! We always encourage residents or their loved ones to connect directly with our Executive Director or Executive Chef regarding culinary preferences or concerns. Additionally, we offer a substitute menu if there's nothing on the daily menu that aligns with a resident's preferences. We'd love to connect with you directly to discuss any concerns or preferences you may have. Please call our community and ask to speak with our Executive Director. Thank you!
Dad is happy there, well-cared for, and safe. The staff is friendly , kind, and respectful in all of the interactions we've had and witnessed. That is the most important take-away here. The 4s were because of some blips in organizing his limited onsite healthcare requirements, like allergy shots, which were eventually resolved. And it's expensive. We're blessed to have the resources available to keep him there for the foreseeable future, but it is a lot of money.

May 2, 2024Hi Geraldine, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are thrilled to hear that our team has been able to assist you during your time of need. We appreciate your kind words and look forward to serving you again in the future.
I've been very happy with this place. We are almost too coddled. Staff is on top of issues before we can even realize they're there.

The only piece of constructive feedback we have is the entry door. It was challenging to interrupt the staff every time we wanted to enter or leave the facility. It taxes the staff to have to monitor the door and provide care for the residents simultaneously.

April 4, 2024Hello Lori, Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We appreciate your input regarding the entry door, but rest assured our team is never bothered when it comes to monitoring the doors and letting families in and out of the community. Safety is our number one priority, and we will always ensure our doors are monitored and secured for the safety of our residents. If you would like to further discuss any opportunities we have to improve in this area, please call the community and ask to speak with our Executive Director. Thank you.

Even if they make a meal I don't like, I can pick something else. The lady cleans my room well. The girls get me all my favorite snacks.

My mother has been a resident at Crestwood Village for over two years. She started out in assisted living and, after a year, moved into memory care. I have never questioned the moves. They were suggested, and, at my agreement, acted upon. Each time she was moved, the staff made an effort to help her adjust to her new environment. So that the transition ended up being only mildly disconcerting, rather than difficult and confusing. In addition, they gently steer her towards activities which they know she will enjoy and invite her to all activities. She never feels left out. The staff are caring, responsive and respectful individuals. They are what gives Crestwood it's heart. They genuinely care. My only complaint is that the staff is understaffed especially on weekends and cannot always do all that is required of them. I know this is an issue many care facilities face. Crestwood is not unique.

Response from Crestwood Village Assisted Living and Memory Care
September 14, 2023Hi Nancy, Thank you for your review! We are so glad to hear that you have a lot of trust in our team and that your overall experience feels great. We understand your concern about weekend staffing; however, we want to clarify that our weekends are scheduled the same as the weekdays. Having said that, many of our leadership team members work a traditional 9 to 5, but we always have a manager on duty to support families and residents. If you have any additional concerns, please call the community and ask to speak with the Executive Director. Thank you!
Highly recommend. The staff and residents are all wonderful. Staff is caring and helpful. We're very happy with the care our mom is receiving! We would highly recommend Crestwood. We picked this community, because of the availability and we knew it was very nice.

My parents chose Crestwood (and we toured several.) They enjoy the staff, the fact that they have a patio outside their room, the many varied social activies and the fun trips around town. Thank you Crestwood....keep them smiling!

We are very pleased with Crestwood Village. Mom seems to be enjoying the great care by the kind and attentive staff there as well as the activities and field trips. Communication from everyone is very prompt and thorough, and needs are met as they arise. It is a comfort to know that she is in a positive environment with caring people.

We toured Crestwood Village and it was a very nice facility! Everything was great. However, we ended up choosing a different facility because we were looking for a facility that had nurses on staff.

A Place for Mom has scored Crestwood Village Assisted Living and Memory Care 10 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
