Independent Living
I have been here since [date removed]. Every day I feel loved by the staff. I have notes because I can't member names and that embarrasses me. The food is better than I can prepare myself. This is a great place to be.
Staff is really nice. They look out for my mother. Like if she misses a meal, they check in on her. Oh the appt transportation is a pain. It's only available 2 days a week half day. Have to get approval ahead of time. And the they drive you but do not assist into building. When it's a large medical bldg this is difficult for someone in a wheelchair.
The whole place has a very friendly atmosphere. SLC offers a lot of programs that are open to people who live in the surrounding community, so the residents feel like they are still part of the community. The food is very good. I would recommend Scandinavian Living Center to others.
