Avery Crossings in Needham Heights is opposite a small shopping area and park. There's a CVS store and Trader Joes just across the street. I came here for only respite care after I fractured my shoulder because I would be limited at home and did not want to go to a nursing home. I have a surprisingly large one-bedroom apartment now, and I love it here. I wish I came here before my accident as my shoulder is not back to what it was before. I cant say enough good things about Avery Crossings they offer many things that a are great particularly the food and the daily car service. The staff here are all nice people, very friendly and have helped me tremendously. The other residents are nice to but I have to say I enjoy my relationship with the staff the most. It's not easy having my family far away, so I'm glad that I can feel so comfortable here. I'm 84 years old and for anyone in a similar situation like mine I highly recommend staying here.

I love the staff here. Everyone is so kind and caring. They cannot do enough for the residents and always with a smile. The atmosphere is very upbeat and you can tell that people are happy living at Avery Crossings. I have found the nurses are right on top of everything and I like seeing the same aides every time I visit. I am told there is very little staff turnover.

Great staff - kind, well trained, friendly and reliable. Genuinely care about the residents and go the extra mile to keep families in the loop. Food is tasty and of excellent quality. Thoughtful activities and an excellent fitness program. Location has lots of interesting shops and restaurants in walking distance. We could not be happier.
