River Bend in Great Bend, KS
5.0

My sister lived at River Bend for almost 4 years and recently passed away there. The staff and administration are the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. My sister absolutely loved living here and loved the food as well! They were always so helpful when we had questions and very accommodating when we came to visit. We will definitely miss all the staff that we have come to know so well and highly recommend River Bend to anyone looking for a nice, clean facility with loving staff members who actually care!

Credo Senior Living in Hoisington, KS
4.7

This is a nice place for your loved one. They have a good atmosphere here. The staff are easy to work with if the family has any questions or concerns about our loved one. The community was able to provide medication distribution, dressing and bathing assistance as some of the care types available.

Brookdale Great Bend
4.5

The staff at Great Bend Brookdale was exceptional. My sister would often say how well she was treated and how much she loved the girls that took care of her. When it comes time to make a decision about assisted living I would highly recommend this facility. Great job ladies!!

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities offer seniors a harmony between living an independent lifestyle and not having to concern themselves with chores. Food preparation, leisure activities and housekeeping chores are handled for you while you are free to use your time as you wish. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they choose. While policies vary between communities, many residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always utilize the services of independent health care professionalls. There are an assortment of advantages and costs to balance when choosing an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are included in the plan: private phone, utilities, initial assessment fee, parking, wellness program, laundry, housekeeping, and move-in fee. The conveniences that pertain to independent living include private rental hall, laundry service, golf course, healthcare center, security guards, beauty salon & barber shop, restaurant-style dining hall, and community activities.
