Credo Review

Credo has been great. It has more of a homey feel to it. The staff-to-resident ratio is amazing so the care is more personalized, especially compared to a bigger nursing home. The staff actually sit with the residents and hang out with them. I would tell others that you do have to provide all of your own things - it is like an apartment complex. This was the best decision ever and I would and have recommended them to others.... Read more

About the facility Credo Senior Living

Country Place Memory Care rests in the hospitable small town of Hoisington, which occupies a small corner of the Cheyenne Bottoms, a large wildlife refuge near the geographic center of Kansas. Surrounded by a quiet residential area, the community offers memory care in a place where neighbors are friends and family. The experienced caregivers at Country Place are always nearby to lend a helping hand but also encourage residents to live an independent and active life. Residents will thrive in the caring environment that also includes delicious meals, spacious accommodations and fantastic amenities.

Surrounded by manicured lawns and thoughtfully detailed landscaping, the spacious campus features smooth walking paths and a secure courtyard. Residents can take leisurely walks or choose to relax with neighbors while enjoying the comfortable outdoor settings. The smaller environment offers a calm home where residents will enjoy the privacy of their own suite. Three delicious, home-cooked meals are served daily in the dining room, where residents are encouraged to laugh and chat with their neighbors. Personalized care plans are created with the unique needs of each individual in mind. Meanwhile, caregivers can provide support with daily living tasks such as bathing and dressing. Caregivers also help with medication...

It's a Nice Place and It Would Be a Nice Place for People to Get Care From

This is a nice place for your loved one. They have a good atmosphere here. The staff are easy to work with if the family has any questions or concerns about our loved one. The community was able to provide medication distribution, dressing and bathing assistance as some of the care types available.

My Tour Experience

I liked Country Place very much. It was smaller and didn’t have as many residents. The only drawback was the fact that my friend could have simply just walked out the patio, which was not enclosed. But I knew someone whose mother was there, and she spoke very highly of the care her mother received.

Didn't feel like a place I would want mom to be living. Not warm and fuzzy.

A Place for Mom has scored Credo Senior Living 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
