Their meals were outstanding! We love love love The Renaissance! Unfortunately my mother-in-law couldn't get along with her neighbor so it was her problem, not the communities, but we decided to move her out. We're still sad that it didn't work out.

My loved one was only here for a short respite stay. The only thing that she really complained about is that they didn't always knock before they came in. We had arranged for a female to come and do the shower on a certain day, and a male showed up on a different day to help her. She liked the food and everything.

My father used to live in independent living for three months with his dog before finally transferring at [removed]. I simply cannot say enough good things about this location. It's a sophisticated, lovely location with exquisitely tasteful apartments. The entire team is outstanding! The chef is excellent. The locals have all embraced my father and made him feel incredibly welcome. It is wonderful to have people around him who are aware of his speech difficulties and make an effort to include and converse with him. The staff and residents are greatly appreciated!

Independent Living

For seniors who wish to live primarily without personal care assistance but wish for the benefit of having housekeeping handled by professionalls, an Independent Living Community might be the perfect option. Seniors can use their free time as they see fit while their meals are prepared by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and recreational activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they prefer. While policies vary between locations, numerous residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to utilize the services of private health care professionalls, they may always do so. There are an assortment of benefits and costs to keep in mind while determining an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are covered in your plan: transportation, field trips, move-in fee, internet access, meals, cable TV, initial assessment fee, and private phone. The luxuries that pertain to independent living include fitness center & swimming pool, restaurant-style dining hall, community activities, security guards, beauty salon & barber shop, golf course, game/TV room, and concierge services.
