We are really happy with the Mountain Park Senior Living community and I am so glad mom is back here. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

The Palazzo in Phoenix, AZ

People and staff are friendly and activities are great! My mom has been concerned about food quality lately and knows there have been meetings regarding overall impressions of food. I would recommend The Palazzo to others looking.

The 5 is totally based on the administrator. She is really nice. If she wasn't there it would be terrible. I don't like that it all depends on this one person. There are too many animals. Too many stray cats. Trash, trash, too much trash!

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities provide seniors with a handy balance between living an independent lifestyle and not having to worry about housekeeping. Basic tasks such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they see fit, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of private health care providers, they always have the option. There are an assortment of advantages and expenditures to balance while deciding on an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are included in the service plan: internet access, initial assessment fee, laundry, Waiting list deposit, transportation, move-in fee, meals, and parking. The benefits associated with independent living include golf course, healthcare center, fitness center & swimming pool, beauty salon & barber shop, restaurant-style dining hall, community activities, laundry service, and transportation.
