Legacy Village of Salt River in Scottsdale, AZ
4.0 / 5.0

My loved one is currently a resident at Legacy Village of Salt River and overall this facility is a 4+!. The staff is good. Their responsiveness to issues is good. The food is good. Housekeeping is once a week and works well for the resident. The move in was stress free and they were very accommodating. My loved one is settling in and feels very safe and well cared for. I would recommend Legacy Village of Salt River to others.

MorningStar at Arcadia in Phoenix, AZ
4.9 / 5.0

The place is well run and very nice. I feel comfortable leaving my wife there. It is a little pricey, but generally first-class. They really seem to operate as a caring family. It's definitely a place that people should check out.

Sagewood Desert Willow AL and MC in Phoenix, AZ
4.9 / 5.0

Everyone that we worked with at Sagewood Desert Willow was extremely friendly and engaged. We were assigned a move in coordinator who helped facilitate everything and provided the information we needed to move in. My loved one loves her housekeeper and the place is always very clean when we go visit. She has received great support medically and emotionally through the transition. She has made friends and is out doing things/attending events probably everyday. I absolutely would recommend this facility to others.

Independent Living

For many seniors, the cost burden of home ownership might deter them from an independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities offer a convenient remedy to this situation. Frequent needs such as the scheduling of social activities and meal planning are accounted for, which provides seniors more free time to live active lives as they wish. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies vary between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always utilize the services of private health care professionalls. There are an assortment of expenditures and benefits to keep in mind when choosing an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are included in the service plan: cable TV, initial assessment fee, private phone, utilities, wellness program, meals, parking, and move-in fee. The luxuries that pertain to independent living include private rental hall, game/TV room, laundry service, community activities, healthcare center, fitness center & swimming pool, beauty salon & barber shop, and transportation.
