Nestled into picturesque Ferullo Field, the stately Windrose at Woburn will welcome your loved one with open arms. We are an assisted living community dedicated to memory care, utilizing a thoughtfully developed program to suit your loved one’s specific needs. We care for the whole person at Windrose at Woburn, instead of focusing solely on symptoms. Our ThriveCare program helps set the rhythm for the day, and helps residents feel secure in their routines.
If you have a long-term care policy, we encourage you to see if memory care services are included in your plan. Veterans may be eligible for the Aid & Attendance benefit.
Our ThriveCare program incorporates Behavior Based Ergonomic Therapies (BBET). We are one of only two locations in the New England area to incorporate this groundbreaking program that combines the use of music, video, stimulation, and memory prop therapy. Each individual is given a unique therapy process, customized to reflect their personal interests. Our entire staff is also trained in techniques for responding to symptoms of Alzheimer’s and related disorders.
All residents benefit from our advanced communications techniques — when someone has memory loss, how you say something is just as important as what you...

Since everyone at Windrose has memory issues the staff really know how to deal with them on a daily basis. And they are willing to customize the daily routine. The people are helpful and compassionate. They understand that not all the residents fit in the same box, following the exact same routine. This review was done with a 2 month care experience. That's a very limited time.

My loved one was only there for four days before she passed. She needed to be somewhere where she could have extra attention and care, and Windrose was perfect for her. They were very accommodating. A lot of places said they wanted my loved one to go there, then turned around and rejected her due to the level of care that she needed. But Windrose did not. They did their service around an evaluation of what she needed, and everything was inclusive. It would have been a perfect place, and they were awesome. The director was very compassionate and was always there to answer any question. He returned every phone call. Personally he's just an awesome guy. His whole staff was great too.
WINDROSE is Amazing! My Nana has been there for a little more than two years now. We took her from home which was very hard and put her into a nursing home (who left the residents who couldn't walk or voice anything on their own and just left them sitting in a wheel chair/cardiac chair in the same place for hours on end! DISGUSTING!) I firmly believe if we had left her in the nursing home she would have passed away within six months. When we put her in Windrose she came back to life and she absolutely loved it there and loved everyone! (everyone on the staff treated her and the other residents as if they were their own family) She even stopped asking to go back home :) I would take her out and within a couple of hours she wanted to go back! :) That tells you something :) God Bless you all that work @ Windrose. Now that my Nana is not doing well and approaching going home to be with my grandfather, her mother & father our family couldn't have asked for a better group of people to watch over her. I highly recommend the Windrose if you have to make that very hard choice of putting a parent/relative into an assisted living/home. [names removed]

The rooms were smaller than we wanted and the kitchen floor was sticky it was like walking on fly paper. There were two floors and they were the same. They claimed someone was coming to clean that day and I wondered why they didn't clean themselves. It really turned me off that the floors were so sticky.

They are great! They really know how to deal with memory care problems. I think that is their number one skill. They are very helpful at making it a very smooth transition. It's been a very good experience and I would highly recommend Monarch Homes of Woburn.

Sounds like a wonderful small facility. Two wings with 17 residents each. Staff does not wear scrubs. All doors, sinks, etc. color coded and set up like a dorm with rooms off of a hallway that leads to a living room and dining area. Shared room $5750; Private room $6750.
