Vista Pointe Assisted Living

It took my dad a while to get used to it, which is probably pretty normal. But once he did, he was pretty comfortable. He had some of his own unique personal issues that made him not want to leave his room, but they would bring him his food. It was very hard to reach the management. You didn't know when anyone was going to be in the office, so it was hard to get ahold of them if you had questions or concerns. They did always respond to emails, but it still seemed like somebody should have been on site a little more often than they were. The caregivers were good, but the on-site doctor wouldn't show up when he told my dad he was going to. Overall, the staff were very attentive, and good with his ostomy care, which can be difficult.

I think you would be happy with Vista Point. We are very pleased with the community and our loved one likes being here. The food is very good and my loved one has even gained some wieght. I would recommend this community to others based on our experience.

Some young great caregivers! They really care about there job. There is one older employee who doesn’t get to my Mom and then gets mad if she falls. Some people are not meant for caregiving. But my Mom enjoys her care.

Not a good facility. Nurse does not ensure care of the patients. Understaffed in nurses and in caregiver staff. Lacks professionalism.

This facility only has 20 apartments and seems to be well organized. The staff treats all the residents well and they are really nice. It’s very clean here but I have noticed a few things the management could work on. I have seen that they are understaffed and at times there are only 2 people on staff. Sometimes there are long wait times to go to the bathroom and the night staff is irresponsible. At this point I would need to spend more time at the facility before I could recommend it.

When I toured this community it was OK. It seemed dark and dingy there. The staff was nice and friendly and answered all of my questions. But there was a fee of $60 extra just to dispense my wife's medication. It looks like it was a home and it was added on to to make this community. They didn't except family care or medicaid here.

I had a good tour of this community. Everything went well, and everyone was friendly. The community looked nice, and everything was nice, and clean. The staff I met was kind, and helpful. They were nice, and answered my questions. The experience went well overall.

When I walked thru the first building the patients were nursing home people. The tour guide said that other building, which she did not show us, held more cognitive patients. I was not that impressed. The rooms were nice. The area was clean. But I was put off on the nursing home feel. Was disappointed.

I'm pleased with everything. I visit my mother quite often. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The owners are there to speak if you have any issues. If someone needed an assisted living facility to place their loved one at, I would highly recommend the Vista Pointe to them. It's a very nice community. The facility is very clean and well kept. The value is excellent. The care services are excellent as well.

I would recommended this assisted living to anyone. The value of it is great. The care service are unbelievable the staff takes on each resident and helps them out. The have helped my mom out a lot. She said the food is really good and even the other people are nice. They seem to know what their doing and is great at it.

I think first of all Jill the owner is really responsive helped mother get situated very quickly. Meals are good mother in law says tastes good and has variety of meats and bagels, fruits to choose from. Activities are offered that mother in law can participate and enjoys the arts and crafts.

Beautiful Facility! Wonderful staff- so friendly and caring. So appreciative of their care!!

Like that it is privately owned. Nurse/owner Jill was very nice. Liked what I saw. Very convienient.
