Villas at Killearn Lakes

Based on our families experience, the medical side of things could improve, and the food could improve a lot. Overall staff very nice and helpful. Unfortunately a revolving door of caregivers

What has made it such a wonderful experience so far is the staff members and how very responsive they are. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend the Villas at Killearn Lakes to other families.

The staff members are good. I am a very healthy eater. I know it is more expensive to choose healthier options. As a memory care facility I would choose more focused activities. I know it is hard with limited staff. The price just went up [fee removed] a month. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

The Villas at Killearn Lakes gave mom the safe home she needed after dad passed. We tried other facilities but they were not the place for her or us. The entire team at the Villas treated mom with love and respect every day for almost three years, despite her advanced state. We always felt like family to them and they treated our mother with such care and dignity. The Villas is a wonderful place for your elder. Every time I have been there everyone seems happy comfortable and happy and enjoying g all the excellent activities they have to offer. I would not think twice about placing a family member there. Go check it out you will not the disappointed!

The Villas and everything they stand for are professional and extremely pleasant to deal with. I enjoyed my visits each time I went and was always so happy to see the events that they had plan for the residents. It is a very inviting, warm, home environment for loved ones.

I flew in from Tucson to find my mother a assisted living facility. Out of all the ones I toured I was so very impressed with The Villas at Killearn Lakes. The staff was amazing. The homes are beautiful and so clean. It’s so hard to find clean. Everyone was listening to a guitar player on the patio playing. The care ratio is 1 caregiver to 6 residents. We ran into [name removed] who my mother loved watching on TV forever. She was so happy and felt great knowing she was a partner on the campus. We definitely picked The Villas and I couldn’t be more excited for her.

Villas is a beautiful facility with friendly staff and is a nice assisted living facility. However it is not staffed, trained nor equipped to properly handle progressive memory care patients. After years of my father living there and us continually working with the staff and doctors as his cognitive abilities deteriorated, they have given us 45 days to find a new home for him. We even provided a full time (8-12 hours/day) caretaker at our own expense at their request. But they are still not equipped to handle the common, progressive issues that will inevitably arise with memory care patients. Therefore if your loved one has, or may eventually have, memory care needs, I do not recommend this facility. Stability is important with memory care patients and when my father needs stability the most, this facility is forcing him to move and our family to go through yet another difficult and painful transition.

Our loved one moved here after leaving a different facility and wow is it a night and day experience. Their staff and all of the services are just top notch. We love the concept of the Villas and we are having a wonderful experience so far.

I've recently moved two clients into the Villas@Killearn Lakes for Assisted Living care. Both are thriving in the small, family type environment. Meals are made from scratch in the kitchen of each Villa and residents are encouraged to participate as they are able. The large living room provides opportunities for socialization while the smaller activity room provides an area to spend quiet time alone. The 2 covered porches allow for socially distanced visits with friends and family. The staff to resident care ratio is the best in town with a maximum of 12 elders in each villa. I'm truly happy to know my clients are CARED for by all who interact with them in this residence! My clients have enjoyed regularly scheduled social activities based on the needs and abilities of the residents in each Villa. Examples include “Mocktail Hour”, Bingo, Special Guest Musicians, Chair based exercise class and the walking track team.

I've toured many communities and this seemed like the best fit for my mother and I was right. Excellent care!

My mother resides in the community and she has been much happier since her move. She has made friends, started walking, and has overall made strides.
