Great place for your loved ones it’s a hard decision to make but makes it easier when a place is nice and professional. It makes your decision better when you trust the place you move your loved ones into

It has been a good place for my aunt. I picked this community because, I thought it would be a good fit for my aunt.

At the end, we started with hospice services at Tapestry. After issues with medications, we moved her to the Hospice House. I wish we had done that sooner. Rooms and common areas kept reasonably clean. The overall friendliness varied by staff. Staff at Hospice found a large pressure sore on her buttocks and commented on how dirty she was. Activities were limited. A lot of time was spent watching TV, which I doubt they comprehended

I love the fact that they have a reception desk with somebody who staffed there from early morning until early evening. They are the first impression and they said a very fine standard for how the place runs. There are nursing stations on every floor and constantly people walking around but you can get help from. The lobby is very open and inviting. It is not a pass through like other facilities that I've been to it encourages people to congregate and mingle and spend time together. They have a 3:00 happy hour every day and it seems well attended. The staff is friendly and kind and treated my father with respect even though he was very difficult to deal with.

I would say the experience for my mother was good. We checked out about eight places in Tallahassee and visited six. Tapistry seemed to be the best one in terms of outdoor space for walking as well as general layout and activities. This was my mothers second visit because the first one worked out well.Communication has been good, both before and during my mothers stay.

Of all of the facilities that my father has been to and there have been a few this is the best so far. The responsiveness of the staff has been excellent there are so many people in the building It is busy with staff and that makes me happy. They need to work on their response time to when my father presses the pendant call button that is a problem. But really my only complaint so far.

I have a relative who is living at Tapestry Lakeshore and though I live out of town and keep up via Facebook, it is great to see my relative happy. The new chef is great making the meal experiences classy and respectful. The open menu with breakfast anytime even at 5pm is great. The place over the past year has gotten much better and to know my relative is happy there reassures that our family made the right choice .

I feel good about placing my loved one here. They've been more than helpful, and I have no complaints. [name removed], the sales manager, bent over backwards to help me get my mother moved in when we were under a real time crunch. My mother, who chronically complains about everything, is not telling me anything negative about Tapestry. The facility looks like a hotel, and it actually used to be a hotel. It's a 4-story building and solidly constructed, which gives me peace of mind in case of hurricanes and things. The cost is right in line with other places in the area. Tapestry provides great service and care and is doing all the things they're supposed to be doing for their residents' wellbeing. At the time I looked into them, they had zero infractions against them, which is unheard of. I would recommend any family to come check them out.

During the time our loved one was there, we did have a very positive experience. Our loved one really did like being there, she said everyone and everything was very nice, we have no negatives to say about the place. They seemed to be really diligent with her care, and they were very accommodating with her dietary needs and restrictions. She really enjoyed playing bingo with the staff and other residents. The lady who helped us get our loved one into the community was amazing. She was wonderful and just top notch.

My family and I cannot say enough about Tapastry. [Name removed] and the entire staff are absolute angels. Deciding to put my mom in an assisted living facility was one of the hardest things we had to do… But not only do we realize we made the right choice, we are forever grateful for their loving care, support, encouragement and flexibility. It is not a “one-size-fits-all“ approach. They truly learn so much, so quickly what is best for our mom and all of the residence. There have been several occasions where Mackenzie has not just done her job, but she has gone so above and beyond what we could’ve ever imagined with her professionalism, support and genuine concern for our mom. This is a special place with so many special people.

Tapestry Lakeshore has been a God send for my family. They have gone above and beyond to make sure my Mom is comfortable & happy. The Director of Sales and Marketing, [name removed], is phenomenal.

This refurbished hotel has an energetic vibe, very good food and a lively actvities program. However, the actual "assistance" part of this assisted living facility is a work in progress. You really have to stay on top of the staff and advocate for your lived one to get the support you are paying for. If you can do that, the support is fairly good.
