Villagio at Broomfield

For the cost you are getting excellent care and excellent service. I would recommend this community to anyone who may be looking for care for an elderly individual. They have activities like crafts, volleyball with the residents, and even a wine tasting festival. As a memory care facility the security is good, the doors are locked and they make you show proof of who you are I feel very comfortable with my loved one here.

My Mother has been in 4 care facilities, 2 assisted, 2 memory assisted. She moved into Villagio very recently and I can say it feels like home! The care givers, nurse [name removed], Administration have given my Mother and myself a sense of comfort and care that is not easy to find. Thank you [name removed] for working so diligently to make this happen!!!

Truly outstanding staff!!! My wife and I were looking for a memory care facility for our neighbor. Our neighbor is a wonderful woman who had cared for others most of her life. We were looking for a facility where she would be well cared for. Prior to her placement, the facility had a water pipe break that damaged parts of the facility. Even while dealing with this disaster, the staff found a way to get our neighbor placed in their facility. Several members of the staff remained after hours to ensure our neighbor got settled into her new environment okay. The staff has worked with us to get her belongings, allowing her to continue to communicate with us, and also helped us continue to care for our neighbor while adhering to state and CDC guidelines for dealing with COVID-19. They also arranged her vaccination. The only downside is activities are limited due to COVID. If you are looking for a comfortable, caring facility for your loved one, I highly recommend you end your search with The Villagio!!!

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this community to others. They have been working very hard to make things easier with covid. They have a good plan in place for covid also.

The experience our family had when my father, who has Alzheimer’s, was admitted was horrible. The marketing person is good at her job and sold us so well up front but once my dad got into the facility for respite care, everything went downhill quickly. He was out of medicine for two days in a row without any notification to family or doctors. He was allowed to sleep on the floor in other residents rooms, which was told to us directly from the caretakers. We were told that even with covid restrictions, my dad would be engaged in daily activities...All the residents are left to sit in front of a tv the whole day. My dad wanders at night and instead of the staff redirecting him, they let him stay up for hours at a time, even joining him to watch tv...this was again told to us by the staff directly. To say that we are disappointed with our experience at The Villagio is a huge understatement.

The moment I walked I knew this was the place for my husband and upon completion of the tour only confirmed my first impression. If and when the time comes, I too, will move in. The area is spacious, rooms have great living square footage, clean and comfortable gathering areas. Staff and workers, as well as volunteers, are so friendly and interact with the residents.
