Villa South Assisted Living and Memory Care

This is the best places I could ever find for my parents. The staff is wonderful and caring. My Dad thanks me for finding him such a great place to live. Villa South was recommended to me by old neighborhood friends. Their parents lived there and were highly pleased. I think the cost of care is very reasonable.

The staff are just very concerned about my mom. They know her habits, they know what she's doing, and they are aware of her at all times. They call me back and we communicate almost everyday. They don't hesitate to contact me if something is going on with my mom. I would highly recommend this community. I am just really happy with the staff and they just make sure that everything is right.

My mother has been in the Villa South memory unit for the past 4.5 years and I am every happy with the care she receives. I worked for 2 years as a nursing assistant and 30 years in health care. Also, my wife is retired after 20 years as a dietary cook in a nursing home, so we knew what to look for when choosing a home for my mother. Number one is cleanliness. If it doesn't look clean or you can smell urine, or the residents have their last meal on their hands, face, and clothes, your in the wrong place. Whenever I visit my mother at the Villa, it always looks and smells clean. My mother is kept clean, soiled diapers changed promptly, and hands and face cleaned after every meal. Another important issue is the staff. At the Villa the staff is always friendly and helpful. Many of the caregivers there now were there when my mother moved in 4.5 years ago. I take great comfort knowing that experienced caregivers who know my mother and her needs are watching over her. I highly recommend the Villa South for your loved ones.

My mother-in-law was a resident at Villa South in their Stepping Stone Memory Care Unit until her recent passing. From the day we moved her in, we knew she was going to be in a place where she would be well taken care of. The facility was clean and the staff was exceptional, from the Executive Director down to the wonderful staff who made sure her daily needs were met and who showed her love and compassion. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place to provide care for their loved ones.

Villa South made the transition for my Mom easier for our family. She wasn’t eager to go there, but they understood what was needed to do to help. The staff are friendly, caring, and kind. I can call at any time to see how she is doing. I am so happy to know she is getting the care she needs and is safe in her new apartment.

We went to Villa for respite until another facility on which we had placed a deposit was available. After a few days our experience was so good we didn't leave. Mother has resided there for over a year now. I visit every day and know the great staff who are very caring and attentive. Easy access to a very eficient management team. They are all like our family.

Only concern is that the toilets do not have bars mounted for residents to use. Only vanity cabinet next to it. They did say they could install kind that set on toilet for resident. Everyone super nice, clean..had amenities for dr. Visit and store etc.

I just want to say I Love this place and the staff is amazing. I moved my Dad into the Villas after Harvey came through. The staff worked with me on pricing which is the most reasonable I have found so far. All the other facilities want a small fortune and don’t have the caring staff like the Villas do. There is a courtyard in the center of the facility that is very peaceful and calming. The place is always clean and the food is good also. The medical staff goes above and beyond to take care of my Dad I wouldn’t want him anywhere else I have had only good things to say about this place

My 90 year old mother had been at Villa South for 2 years and really has enjoyed it. The facility is clean and any needs she has had is addressed immediately. The new Executive Director [name removed] has made some changes since she has taken over and the physical appearance of the place has really improved. It is nice to go into a facility have a nice clean scent. The facility is reasonably priced as compared to some other options and we are pleased with their service.

My dad relocated to Villa CCS over two years ago. The staff are the best! Very friendly and caring for all of the residents. The quality of the facility itself has improved a lot in the past few months with new management; better appearance, maintenance, etc.

My mother has been living at Villa South for over a year. She was unhappy and lonely living alone. The staff goes above and beyond to keep her happy and active. They keep a close eye on her and her health. She is always smiling and happy to stay there when I leave. They made the transition a very smooth and easy process. I could not have done this without their help.

This facility is one of, if not the best assisted living facilities I have visited. During my clinical time here the facility was clean and the staff was great. The residents here are also very pleasant and enjoy the living conditions here.

The facilities are kept clean and the staff is friendly. They seem genuinely invested in their residents and it's better than other area nursing homes I've been to.

This is a great place for residents. Great courtyard, events, games and a beauty shop. Wonderful facility with great staff.

I have been a nurse for 22 years and wish I had known about Villa South when my Grandma was still alive. The staff there are very caring and the residents are well cared for!!!!!!

The staff here did a nice job with my tour, they took their time showing me around and answering my questions, The community was clean but I felt the dining area in the memory care was cramped and dark and I did not feel that this would be the best fit for my mother.

We moved my mother-in-law to Villa of Corpus Christi South a little over a year ago and have nothing but positive things to say about the facility. Having Alzheimer's, she requires a lot of assistance. There is never a question as to whether she is receiving the help she needs. Every staff member we have met and/or spoken to has been kind, courteous and compassionate. As we were moving her in, I was able to visit with the Executive Director, Admissions Director/Business Manager and Head Nurse. I felt as if I were talking to old friends. Am happy to say, it continues to be that way. We would highly recommend this facility!

I have found Villa South Assisted Living to have a very friendly home-like atmosphere. The staff are warm, caring, and compassionate. I love that they have a community dog, Oscar, for all the residents to love as their own. The common area is bright and cheerful. The facility is clean and smells good throughout. Resident care always come first. If you are looking for care for your loved one, you will not find a better value nor better care.
