Since I've arrived, I couldn't have been treated better. All are willing to help and with a great attitude. Management is very social and will help in any dilemma. They take time from their busy workday to help always.

It was a good experience. I have recommended Traditions of Lansdale to several folks I have talked to about assisted care. We picked this community, because of the price and location. Also, the proximity to family members.

My mom has had a hard time at other facilities and I was getting worried that we would never find a place where she would be happy, but this seems to be the place. Everyone I have dealt with has been great and the building is beautiful!

This place is terrific, and I have plenty of reason to say that. My mom moved in one month ago and she has moderate dementia but is very physically able (no walker etc). She was very resistent to move out from living with family and she needed a good 2-3 weeks to adjust, but Traditions' team was stellar throughout. They not only focused on her and ensuring her needs are met (despite her negative posturing), but they were very helpful to my family and I as we worked through our own emotions. From Admissions ([name removed]) through caregiving ([name removed]) to even the receptionists ([name removed]and [name removed]), everyone worked as a team to make this adjustment as smooth as possible. Could go on and on but believe me I'm so glad with our decision to move my mother here.

We toured Traditions of Lansdale and it was great! The facility was very nice. The staff was great, as well as the cleanliness and general friendliness. Unfortunately, it wasn't all inclusive pricing and that's something that we were looking for.
my grandmother lives at this community and the staff neglect to give her medication for one week and also did not get her on a routine shower schedule for 6 weeks. however we were so impressed by [name removed] that we were surprised by the above experience. The face that there is no LPN or RN in the building makes our concerns heightened.
Response from Traditions of Lansdale
March 13, 2023Please speak to the Executive Director or Regional Director of Operations if you have concerns. Our team understands the great responsibility of caring for the residents who choose to make Traditions of Lansdale ‘home’ and want families to have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are getting the care they need.
When touring this community a year ago it had a lot to offer. I had a recent tour of the community and found the changes discussed to be made in memory care still have not happened. Smells of urine, flooring needs replacement, residents sitting around with no activities.
Response from Traditions of Lansdale
November 13, 2022We are disappointed that you didn’t see us at our best, but if you are still searching for a community, I hope you’ll visit us again. Our renovation of the Memory Care neighborhood is ongoing and we look forward to continuous improvement.
My mom and I toured this community. Biggest reason we did not choose it is because of the bathrooms are too small! You cannot get walker through the doorway. There are no trips on their activity schedule.
Response from Traditions of Lansdale
November 13, 2022The bathrooms are small. We do have many residents who use walkers and we've made modifications to allow them to use the bathrooms safely. We are happy to install grab bars, handles, etc. as needed.
We chose Traditions of Lansdale because this was the one that my mom responded to the best, she really liked it and it was all about her decision. Overall it has been a good experience and she likes it here. I would recommend this facility to others looking.

My loved one lives in this community. My family's early experience was one of joy and anticipation of my loved one moving in. The transition has been difficult....there needs to be some extra care when someone enters assisted living and or memory care. A care to know that they are being cared for instead my call to the community was delayed for more than a day. My loved one is not adjusting. I am disappointed. There was no seat in the dining room ready for my loved one to have any meals. I was told that they would be paired up with those that they would best get along with. Disappointed with the staff, food, care, and medication management. I picked up 4 pills of medications on the floor while walking through the building.

October 31, 2022Moving to a community is often difficult for residents and their family members. Please reach out to the Executive Director and Resident Care Director to schedule a meeting to discuss your concerns. We are committed to helping your loved one adjust and thrive.
The executive director is unseen whenever we come to visit dad. The executive director states that he has an ‘open door policy’ then why is he not available to speak to families when they are visiting. This has been going on for months and into the last year. I have wanted to discuss the diet/nutrition of our loved ones but they are too busy and it is appalling that they are consistently served either frozen hamburgers or hotdogs as their choice for an entry. The alternatives choices are peanut butter and jelly or grilled cheese. Can you believe this!!! Also I also need to mention that half of my dads clothes never have come back to him in the weekly laundry!! I know their are others that want to speak up, I encourage you to do so!!

October 31, 2022We are sorry that you are feeling unheard. While the Executive Director does have an open door policy, please know that you can also reach out to the Regional Director of Operations for Traditions of Lansdale by calling Heritage Senior Living. We are always looking for ways to improve and recognize that the ‘comfort foods’ that you identified are not everyone’s favorite. We are committed to turning this 1-Star review into a 5-Star review!
The place smells of urine, and residents smell and appear to be dirty. I moved my mom out because she told me that she would ring her call bell and either no one would show up, or it would take sometimes up to an hour for a caretaker to show up. There are barely any activities, most residents are just sitting around or sleeping, and the staff are out in the open on their phones. One can really see what happens after 5pm. I tried to tell the ED about the issues and you can tell that he does not care and nothing gets done. EDs response is you can give a 30 days notice to leave at any time.

I did not care for Traditions of Lansdale, we did not have a good experience and I took my loved one out. They did not have enough staff coverage for the amount of residents that they have. My loved one was sent to the hospital and no body called to tell me, I heard about it when the hospital contacted me. The administrator was very embarrassed and apologetic saying that should have never happened.
Response from Traditions of Lansdale
October 21, 2022We are very sorry for the missed communication. Please know that we've brought this issue to our Quality Assurance team so that it doesn't happen to another family.
Staff was very friendly & helpful. I am able to be very independent. I get the help when I need it. I enjoy reading books in the libraries. Love courtyards & socialization.
Exceptional staff! I feel safe & secure. I'm doing exercises and activities that I did not realize I could do. I have no complaints.
I am very thankful for my daughter [name removed] for finding Traditions of Lansdale. The staff is not only friendly and kind but are exellent in response time of caring for residents needs ( and mine.) This community, offers independent living, beautiful courtyards, activities, music, restaurant dining, housekeeping, laundry, and medication management. Really, what else could I ask for?
I would let others know that they do not have a dietician - so it is the families responsibility to support any dietary needs beyond the basics.

August 15, 2022Thank you for your review and rating. Please know that we do have diabetic and heart healthy options on our menu at every meal. I encourage you to reach out to the community so that we can support you and your loved one's dietary needs.
My loved one did not get involved with any activities. There seemed to be plenty, also with variety. It was a good value, but we were unable to continue with the payments. It was a fabulous experience and I have nothing but good things to say about Traditions. [name removed] is AMAZING! She has a way of making you feel special and that she truly cares about your concerns. [name removed] ?? was also understanding and compassionate. Nothing was too much for any employee. I would highly recommend Traditions to anyone. I was very happy with the decision to have my loved one go there.
the place is responsive if you need to ask about something but don't reach out to communicate on a regular basis. Cleanliness is acceptable but sometimes just slight under excellent. Wish their activities were a bit more robust but bottom line is my mom is very happy whenever we see her and staff seem genuinely caring.

A Place for Mom has scored Traditions of Lansdale 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
