Looks wonderful when visiting, but they did not adhere to proper medical care, did not notice my father having had 2 strokes, and were more concerned with money than anything else. I had been very hopeful upon visiting and even at move in, but was quickly disappointed.

The facility is well run and the staff is very helpful. They are well staffed also no personnel shortages. They work with you and keep in contact with you. I feel my parents are safe and well cared for. I love the fact that they have a PCP see them at the facility making doctors visits easier to manage.

Overall, the staff is very good. The move in was easy and they went out of their way to make it happen. Housekeeping is good. The meals are nice and special celebration meals are nicely done. They no longer have in house hair/nails, which is disappointing. Transportation is also very limited and could be available more days and hours. Billing and working with long term care insurance has been painful. I would recommend this facility to others. For the money, it is very nice. They were very accommodating and have many excellent staff.

The property is the perfect size for residents to quickly get to the places they need to get. They do seem to be understaffed.

The staff at The Sterling Aventura is very kind and compassionate. The housekeeping is great. They have an app to communicate with the family. You can view each day's scheduled activities. They have wonderful live music entertainers at Happy Hour! My mom fell a week before her move in date, so my sister and I were able to completely move her stuff in. Maintenance hung over 20 pictures exactly where we wanted them. The cable company had TVs ready to go when she finally moved in. The meals are good quality, they have open dinning from 7am-7pm. No set meal time. You can come down anytime and get a snack or a meal either to dine in or packed to take out. I would definitely recommend The Sterling Aventura to others.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Sterling Aventura. The facility needs better cleaning. Yesterday, I saw a cockroach on my loved one's walker. The food is great. I would recommend adding some more activities, at least take the residents out sometimes. They never go out, that is not how it was presented to us during the tour. Some of the staff are very nice and kind, but some look very bored.

This is an excellent community and experience for our family and loved one. The staff are very responsive to the family's questions, and they call us when anything changes. Everyone is friendly here. The staff is very caring as well. There are three meals served a day, and the residents have choices. There are also activities to assist with socialization of the residents. [name removed] was wonderful in answering all of our questions before, during and after the tour. The Director, [name removed], has been very helpful and we are pleased with him. [name removed] and [name removed] have been wonderful to work with my loved one.

I would give it overall score of four and that's only because they are doing renovations on the hair salon and carpets need to be replaced but otherwise it would be a five star experience. My mother is very happy there! Versus prices of renting an apartment with live in care in Miami, this is much better value. The activities Director [name removed] is excellent and takes personal care of everyone on staff, nurse, [name removed]-, and head mark people meet with first. All of them take personal attention and pride in taking care of my mother and making her happy and they have excellent activities for them.

They don't really provide care. Just watch that they don't fall over. Was not impressed and pulled my loved one out. Would not recommend the Sterling Aventura to others.

[name removed] who we dealt with in the very beginning we felt to be very professional and very helpful. We were able to meet the activities director and he has been true all the way through. He has been very good about bringing our loved one out of her shell and does great with the other residents. The management team has been very good and they are great about calling us with updates regarding our loved one. Their executive chef is absolutely amazing - their day to day food is above average but when they put on a special occasion dinner, it is high end. They bring out the white tablecloth with very nice (not tacky or cheap) decorations with a very nice menu. It is just wow, it has absolutely blown our loved one away. We do have some issues with the day to day staff and it could just be due to the language barrier. Overall it has been a really good experience and we would recommend The Sterling Aventura community to other families.

The main reason we chose The Sterling Aventura over other facilities that we looked into was because of the value for the money as well as the close and convenient location for family. Someone who has really stuck out to us has been [name removed], he is great and he is very available.

The staff has been super helpful through the transition. It was a difficult time for my loved one and I, the staff has been made it super easy. As a family they staff is super friendly and welcoming, they invite us for lunch and dinner and make us feel like we are apart of the community.

This is a very nice place and I'm really glad I was able to get my mom into the community. We are paying extra for the level of care my loved one needs, and I'm not exactly sure what we are receiving for the amount of money we are paying. Some staff are nicer than others. The food is very good and well prepared. There are three meals a day served to the residents and they have choices. The community is very clean.

Don't go to The Sterling. They lied about everything. There are no activities because they're always short-staffed. There's zero supervision. My loved one ended up in the hospital often after falling many times. They charged us for months of rent when she was only there for weeks. And in the end, they kicked her out with nowhere to go. During the sales process, they lied, making everything seem like sunshine and rainbows. But once you get in and sign on the dotted line, it's the exact opposite. The director is argumentative and not a good person. My loved one's condition steeply declined after placing her here, and I wish we had never done so.

They were excellent care givers. They kept the place really clean. My loved one, loved the facility. The room was clean, and my loved one was very well dressed. My loved one engaged in activities, such as memory games, and dominoes. The nurses were great. It was a very positive environment. It needed to be renovated, but was a very nice facility. Overall, it was excellent value for the money.

It was a wonderful experience. They took care of everything we needed and made everything so simple. The things that they could not provide, such as a furnished apartment, [name removed] connected me with a handyman who could put everything together. I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Sterling, [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed].
