The staff is very friendly and they work well together to cover for one another when needed. The housekeeping is very good - trash is emptied twice a day, room is always clean. It took a little work to get on a regular laundry schedule, but that is good now. If I need an administrator, there is always someone available and they are very interactive with the staff. Mom says she loves the food; very few meals that she's eating. She is also gaining weight, which is good. Truly a great experience for her!

We have found The Springs overall program to be exceptional, exceeding our expectations. The quality of care that they offer is superlative. Very personalized care for our loved one, and they keep us well informed of this progress. The communications from the staff have been excellent, thorough and helpful. Yes, three meals per day are served, and there are almost always choices offered.

They are very friendly, and takes great care of my loved one. The food does not look that good. My loved one complains about it. The staff is awesome, and very responsive. We picked this community because, they had an apartment instead of a room available. Also, It came highly recommended.

It is an older facility but it is very well kept. My mothers room is always clean when I go to visit. They have helped my mother so much and we are so thankful for all of the staff, they are amazing. The director and all of the staff genuinely care about all of the residents and you can tell. They are so friendly they remember my name, my friends names, and all of the residents. I cannot say enough good about them. The therapy that she receives here if terrific and she is just overall so happy. I would definitely recommend The Springs at Simpsonville.

Our loved one was first on the independent side, she had a health concern that made her go to the hospital. She was allowed to come back but had to be in a wheel chair and needed more help then originally. We had an issue with one of the staff members that gave attitude towards us and our loved one when she asked for the extra help. Once she was able to walk again with her walker, we thought the extra services we had paid for would be taken off but that was not the case. Even though she no longer needed those services we were still being charged.

The decision to move my parents to assisted living was one of the hardest of my life. I actually called A Place For Mom thinking I was calling a facility. Once our conversation began I felt God had led me to them. We thought our parents would need to be separated after 65 years together because of their different needs. A Place For Mom helped me see that my parents could stay together. They asked a few questions and provided a list of possible places. They gave a list of questions for us to ask and things to look for when deciding on a place. They then advised me to call and speak with each and narrow it down to three. They set up visits at each place all in one day so I could take half a day to check them out. My sister and I went and were pleased with two of them. We presented the plan to our parents and A Place For Mom set up another visit, this time I took my parents. They were pleased with both. The availability and distance helped us decide on The Springs At Simpsonville. The whole process was completed and we moved them in two weeks. The facility is not home but it is the next best thing. If I had tried this on my own, I have no idea how it would have turned out or how long it would have taken. We are pleased with the facility and caregivers and highly recommend anyone to use A Place For Mom. They were compassionate and guided us when we really didn’t know how to begin.

It was very nice but a little further away than I wanted to be. I chose one that was closer. I think it wasn't quite as good of a value as the one I chose.

A Place for Mom has scored The Springs at Simpsonville 9.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
