The Residence at Gramercy

When Mom first moved in they weren't very clear how she was supposed to order non-gluten free food. Failing to inform my Mom they had a second menu for her to order from. On one occasion, with Mom specifically asking is the item she ordered gluten free. They asked the cook and they told her it was gluten free. It wasn't. Thankfully she didn't have a bad reaction to it. That was within the first two weeks. As far as I know, all is well now.

Pathetic place! Great residents! Unfortunately, most residents aren’t treated with respect. They are virtually invisible! Terrible activity department! No nutrition/dietary staff. Promises with no follow through! Not sure how they are licensed for anything. I have nursing background as well as marketing and business background. I’m so disappointed with this place!

The people that work there are nice. Professional. The facility itself needs a lot of updating. It's somewhat tired and institutional feeling. Cold. The value for cost seems appropriate. Had my dad lived longer he wanted to move as it wasn't eventually where he would have been happy long term.

The receptionists are so friendly and kind. The Director walked along side me as I was making some difficult decisions. It was greatly appreciated. There are delays in getting medical appointments made. Need lots of follow up. I know that she is well cared for and that is what is most important to me.

I met with the director of sales and leasing for a tour and was very impressed. I have been looking for the perfect place to move my mom in the next year and this visit left me with such relief and optimism for our future. My mom loves the Nebraska cornhuskers so I was excited to see that they have a room dedicated to the Huskers! The Director of Leasing was so kind and answered my long list of questions. She even had a cup of coffee ready for me when I arrived! She really showed that she cared about my mom's well-being and wanted to know us on a personal level. I didn't feel like I was being "sold" an apartment like I have felt on other tours. I really recommend that everyone experience this for themselves! Thank you so much for all of your help and kindness!

Everyone here is so friendly and treats me well. I felt welcomed by the community since the 1st night I moved in. If I ever have an issue then it is quickly resolved. I really enjoy being here.

Dad liked that they offered him to have a respite stay while I was away. He was able to meet with other residents and see how they run the facility. It is in a great location and easy for me to stop by. Residence at Gramercy staff are great at keeping me informed. My dad is independent, but he does need someone to keep an eye on him at time - they let him be independent, but also keep an eye on him for me. He is in a one bedroom apartment and it has a large closet and a small kitchen which is just what he wanted.

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. The management is very engaged and does a good job running this community. communication is good and the landscaping is very nice also. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

A very nice place to live. The staff is very nice and helpful. The place would be perfect if the food was a little better and healthier.

Very homey and comfortable feeling. Friendly people. Cooking done. Dining room. Entertainment brought in once or twice a week. Bingo, puzzles, cards, and games during the week. Limited while in quarantine weekly housekeeping. Nice surroundings and walk area. Bus services for shipping once a week. Driver to transport people to dr, dentist, etc. Maintenance is kept up and available. A.C. in apt as well as own furnace heating.

We reviewed and toured Gramercy when looking for a place for my mom. Unfortunately, my mom ended up needing nursing care. [name removed] was incredibly helpful and professional. Always following up. I would highly recommend [name removed] and Gramercy Hill when looking for assisted living.

My husband and I came and looked at an apt. in June 2010. We were showed a 2 bedroom and said there would be 6 weeks wait so they could paint and put in the carpet so we waited and moved in [date removed]. We have a son that lives in Welber and he's a salesman in Lincoln and a daughter that has a similar address. We have 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. We also attended a great picnic there.

Excellent tour and very happy visit with [name removed]. This place sounds fun, affordable, and a very friendly active community. Very impressed and wish to live there as a main option summer 2021.

My mom has lived at Gramercy for a few years. She is receiving excellent care. She is eating much healthier than when she lived on her own in an apartment. Gramercy Hill is centrally located making it easier to stop in frequently to visit. I have piece of mind knowing that she is happy and well cared for.
