It's been great! Moved my loved one to the memory care side. That was the reason we chose this facility due to the option of care and they allow her pet for comfort
Our Bible study visited the memory care area & I was apprehensive about what I would see and perhaps smell. What a lovely, welcoming, homey atmosphere! The staff was kind & loving and as we visited with residents we could tell they were happy & content. Visiting family all said how pleased they are with the care their resident receives. God bless you all as you serve in His love and grace.

We took a tour of Yankee Hill Village when searching for an Independent Living facility for our loved one. This facility was very nice! However, it was a smaller facility and all of the resident units were on the ground floor.
Many things about Yankee Hill Village were wonderful during our experience there. But in crisis, they were not well functioning. Communications from the staff to the family were not clear and timely as they should have been. The apartment sizes were generous and perfect for my loved one. There were a lot of great amenities provided, but he did not really take advantage of them.

I'm very pleased with Yankee Hill Village so far. The staff is very professional and good at communicating. And both the staff and the residents can be very friendly. It's a very welcoming environment.

This feels like a modern community compared to many others. This community is bright, fresh and inviting to the residents. I knew this was the place for my sister the second that I walked in. They have activities at this community like trip to various stores like target, craft activities, movie night, sporting event days, speakers, singers, yoga ball work outs, different types of work out groups, church and more for the residents to do and stay active. There are a couple of things every day for them to do.

The experience has been fantastic here. This is an excellent place to live, in fact I would want to live here when the time comes. The layout of the community, the friendliness of the other residents, plus the responsiveness of the staff have been stellar, and help make the community what it is. The apartment, utilities, housekeeping, and two meals a day are included in the monthly fee. There are activities that the residents can participate in. My loved one loves the meals. There are even menus for the residents to order off of.

Didn't see anyone else in a wheelchair there. Great palce, just didn't fit our needs.
We chose Yankee Hill Village because when we toured we thought it was very nice and would be a good fit. They do offer independent, assisted living, and memory care, but they do not accept medicaid here. My loved ones have said that the portions on the food are small. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

This is a good place, and has a nice smell. The community has good security. They are on top of any COVID problems. The staff return calls promptly to the family. The room sizes are bigger than I anticipated and the bedrooms are large.

In a lot of ways all of these communities are comparable, however the staff here are very good which we really like. The facility itself is very nice, and they were accommodating enough to allow our loved one in independent living to keep her cat. She is really enjoying all of the activities they offer, it is a wide variety so it gives her so many chances to socialize. The only low points we hear is with the food, sometimes it seems recycled which she doesn't really

The staff is very caring and a nice group of people. My loved ones like the food and they have an option for alternate dish if you don't like the menu. My loved one likes the variety of activities. I am very pleased with the community. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

The community had a great covid plan and was able to keep the community safe. They were able to lockdown and test to make sure there was no spread. The community is great with communication and kept us informed and up to date during the pandemic. I would recommend this community

Wonderful tour, great facilities, kind, caring staff, and all the services Mom needs. We have now paid the Community Fee, reserved a unit, and plan to move Mom sometime in the next few weeks.

This facility is the Best! My parents moved into their apartment the end of August 2018. From the farm in Southeast Nebraska. Ages 98 and 95. Health care is not always the best in rural area, this place has changed their life around. Dad just said he was ready to find a place as soon as we could. My wife and I did a lot of visits before deciding on Clark Jeary. This place has changed their life. Excellent care!!! Staff is great, Food is Great, Medical care is Great. Can not ask for more. Dad told me that he came here to Die!! Very sad statement for a son to hear. BUT he has never felt better. I will never regret this decision. They have both made so many new friends, can be as busy with activities as they want to be. Mom loves the library, I never knew she liked to read. Please ask for a tour if you are looking for a place for a loved one.

A Place for Mom has scored Yankee Hill Village 8.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
