Care staff wonderful, administrative personnel are not as communicative as they should be. Beautiful facility. I would recommend.

Caregivers were great. Administrators were disorganized, unresponsive and changed frequently. No follow thru with issues. Seemed to not care about problems. Clean except when the housekeeper became a care tech. They couldn't get a replacement so she went back to housekeeper. Care techs excellent. Med techs so so. RN supervision sketchy. There was constant food and snacks. Good quality and amounts. Activities - Bingo, Bingo, Bingo. In memory care all they did was nail care and bingo. Kept saying they would go on outing to aquarium or zoo but never materialized. As far as value, they all cost about the same. After trying to work through the problems and seeing they really didn't care enough to follow thru on their commitments. We transferred him to <name removed> in January. Except for the food he and we are much happier.

I would say they make big promises when you tour but the reality of living there is not the same. They also have numerous excuses when you confront them about problems make promises and never follow through. I would not recommend them to a friend. Turn over of employees is high they don't seem happy working there. Have had some wonderful employees but they always quit.

Response from The Princeton Senior Living
July 12, 2024Hello! We are proud to report that our turnover rate is very low. We hope if you have specific concerns you would reach out to the Executive Assistant to the CEO at 1-800-983-8876 x8960 so we can address them.
It was a wonderful place. The staff that were there at the time were truly caring people. The Director was always available for conversation. Staff appeared to be engaged with residents. In house therapy is a great discipline to have on site.

Response from The Princeton Senior Living
June 8, 2024Thank you so much for leaving us a note! Our team is wonderful! We appreciate it.
The staff here are all very kind and caring for me. It took a few weeks to get on the cleaning schedule! There seem to be a few new residents here that I've been talking to. All of the nursing staff are very thorough with my medication! If I do need extra meds, I simply push the button on the necklace I have and they help me. The food-"wow!"- you can order from just a bowl of soup, which I love- to a full meal-salad, main dish (which they usually have four or five choices) and always desserts, plus, sandwiches, hot or cold. Breakfast is just as satisfying for all!! We have short trips, exercise for all and even craft projects that have really been fun! We've painted, made pillows, even cards to send out! On Thursdays we have a gathering with wonderful treats that celebrates all kinds of monthly holidays!! I could just keep going, but as you can tell, I'm well pleased with my decision to come to The Princeton and I hope this helps others! No place is perfect, but there is quality here to find!

The move in process at The Princeton Senior Living was rocky, as we got no information on who to contact for different things. It is difficult to get someone to call you back when you have questions. For example, we had questions regarding the first bill. We were told that someone would call us back, but no one did until they called because the bill was not paid. Then they tried to charge us a late fee. I would recommend The Princeton Senior Living if your loved one is fairly uncomplicated except for the dementia. The care partners that have daily contact with the residents are fantastic and caring. They have very little training, however and individualizing care based on specific residents' needs is spotty. If your loved one is likely to be satisfied staying in a large group and doing all the fairly routine activities, this facility will be great. If your loved one tends to prefer being away from a group or is very impulsive, they have difficulty adjusting their techniques to fit that person. Communication from a nurse(LPN usually) is very hard to obtain, so if there are ongoing medical issues or you are still trying to find the correct medications to help dementia behaviors, it is difficult. Also, although this facility is supposedly a Level 2 Assisted Living facility, the manager didn't know what that was and none of the residents here are at a Level 2 need. In summation, if your loved one is physically healthy with just the dementia and you are willing to deal with minimal and slow communication, the actual care and kindness to the resident is outstanding at this facility.

My parents are very happy at The Princeton Senior Living and are very busy! They like the food, their apartment is spacious and clean and the people are friendly! The staff has been very helpful and friendly. Most issues are resolved very quickly (tightening a hand rail in a bathroom, fixing a toilet paper holder). Housekeeping comes every week. My mom was hesitant because she's still very active, but she's found more fun things to do. The common areas are neat and clean, too. Communication has been great. We haven't had any issues. The move in went well. We had movers do most of the heavy lifting. However, we did make good use of The Princeton's trollies on several occasions. Plus, they bought the family lunch on moving day! My parents have been very happy with the menu. The variety, quality and portion sizes have all been great. As for recommendations, yes, if prospective tenants can afford it, I highly recommend The Princeton! (Another plus: the different levels of care that they offer. If it becomes necessary to move to Assisted Living, it's right there and familiar.)

We were able to have an in person tour with The Princeton and [name removed] wanted to go to Princeton but at the time, they told us there were 12 folks ahead of her. We actually enjoyed the community and tour experience, everyone was so nice and helpful and answered all our questions.
We toured The Princeton Senior Living when searching for an Independent Living facility for my loved one. This facility was a very nice place! My loved one ultimately chose another facility due to the community of seniors seeming more established than at this facility.
The memory care team does an amazing job helping their residents feel loved, valued and useful. Staff helps female residents do their hair, makeup and nails trying to allow them to maintain the routine they used to have. They insure that they have on clean clothing. Everything the staff does is done with the mindset of preserving the dignity of their residents. They treat them as members of their own family.

It is a very nice and modern facility. From what I have seen, the independent living apartment sizes are outstanding. The washer and dryer are inside of the units. I would recommend The Princeton to others looking.

My loved ones seem to be pretty comfortable there. It is clean and nice and everyone is friendly. There have been some staffing changes within the facility and it is pretty expensive for what they get, the rates are already raising since they moved in.
The Princeton Senior Living community is newer so it does not feel like your walking into an assisted living community but more like you walking into a new home. It is very clean and they have a really nice restaurant with their own bistro. We do see different activities going on. The nursing staff are very attentive and are on top of all of our loved ones needs. For our family so far it as been a really good find.

A Place for Mom has scored The Princeton Senior Living 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
