Thank you from our entire family

I am so happy I found this community. We looked at Several in the area and none made us feel more comfortable than The Palms. They never pressured us to make a decision but everything they told us has been true. My mother in law moved in a month ago and she is so happy there. We were worried that she would not like it and want to come home but that is not the case. If we take her out, she wants to make sure we bring her back before her meal. She tells us all the time how nice the staff are and she is so glad she moved there. Thank you to all the staff and Management at The Palms Assisted Living for taking such good care of our mom. You are true angels!

You are the best

I highly Recommend this facility. The staff are friendly, the food is fantastic. They even have a movie theater. My favorite part is the soft serve ice cream machine in the bistro. Thank you for such a great experience.

AMAZING COMMUNITY

My Dad has been at this community since it opened. He started out in the Independent Side and then transferred to Assisted Living. It was such an easy transition and he has loved it since the minute he moved in. He loves the food experience, and has never had a bad experience with any of the staff. Everyone really cares for each resident and it is like a family. My dad was so shy and reclusive and I NEVER thought he would be social again or do activities but THE PALMS proved me wrong. He engages and has really become a new man and I could not be happier. Don't think twice about moving a loved one in, it will be the best decision you ever make!

So bad

This is a poorly run facility. I put my dad in the memory care division. They made all sorts of promises because he wasn't quite as badge as the others. They didn't follow through with any. People roam in-and-out of his room constantly stealing things. There is no supervision. And most of the staff is useless. [Name removed] is wonderful in there and [name removed] is good as well. Otherwise do not place your loved ones here

An Awful Experience

My loved one used to live at The Palms, and it was an awful experience. When we were there, it was a new, very poorly run community. The staff was inexperienced, the food was terrible, and there were hardly any other residents there, so there was very little companionship and participation in activities. I would not recommend this community to anyone.

A Place for Mom has scored The Palms at LaQuinta 9.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
