The Lighthouse at Lincoln

[name removed] has been at The Lighthouse since end of August. I cannot say enough good things about his care, the staff and overall! Very pleased. I would recommend if looking for placement of a loved one ! However, everyones level of need is different but I would say the Lighthouse has satisfied [name removed] many needs.

All the staff was wonderful. I knew they truly cared for [name removed]. It is sort of hard for me since I lost [name removed]It was a year in Feb. I miss him so much. He had to be moved From lighthouse. With this disease agitation comes and goes. Unfortunately he hit a nurse. The law says he had to be moved to a Geri/psyche hospital. Lighthouse wanted him back as soon as the meds were regulated. Unfortunately within 24?hours of being moved he lost the ability to walk and feed himself. He never went back to Lighthouse. If there was a way he would have been there. That shows how caring they were.

I am typically not a person that writes reviews. I hardly ever read reviews. However, in this case I feel I should write a review for The Lighthouse at Lincoln. My wife has been a resident at The Lighthouse at Lincoln for a year now. She has received exceptional care and is very comfortable at the facility. The staff is so caring and attentive to all her needs. There is nothing harder than having to place your loved one in a memory care facility. In my case I held out for as long as I physically could before placing her in a memory facility. The first day you leave your loved one is very hard. You are never sure you have made the right decision. The staff at The Lighthouse at Lincoln made me feel very comfortable leaving my wife. They communicated with me that day as to how she was doing and for the next few days before I went back to visit her. The staff communicates on how my wife is doing with every visit. Both my parents were here together for several months. Different kinds of dementia - mom with Alzheimer’s and Dad with Lewy Bodies Dementia. Dad was a handful as is expected with LBD yet the staff was always working to keep him calm, redirecting when needed and supporting his ‘fantasy world’ safely. Mom is still there and very well cared for. The staff is fantastic! They truly care about the residents. Knowing that a trip to an ER usually results in a deterioration of the residents health, Lincoln makes every effort to bring medical treatment to the resident. I cannot emphasize how important this is for my Mom. I would HIGHLY recommend lighthouse at Lincoln to any family looking to place their loved one in a memory unit.

My grandma stays here, and they staff are always very kind to her and myself, as well. They are all very attentive. I think it’s great there’s a lot of people who are bilingual so they can speak to my grandma.

Staff is kind and do what they can to keep the residents comfortable. My grandma is staying here and she has area to rome and get her steps in. The room she stays in is taken care of and I see the staff keeping an eye on the other residents.

My husband & I came to visit a dear friend to celebrate ?? her birthday. ?? The staff was kind, caring & compassionate. ?? It is such a good feeling to know that our friend is surrounded by professionals devoted to providing quality care. Everyone we encountered took pride in their role. The facility is clean & comfortable. There are numerous activities for the residents. Thank you for everything you do to create an uplifting atmosphere.

The staff are great with your loved ones. The services provided in house are amazing. While the activities daily keep them busy and active. While still being able to live their own style of life they are closely monitored based on their level of needed help. Management is very nice and helpful when asking questions and if the answers are not clear they take the extra steps to find the desired answer.

Very clean community with a fantastic atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and inviting. You can tell the staff really take pride in their work. I highly recommend Lighthouse at Lincoln to anyone looking for memory care.

My family and are so happy that our family member is so well taken care of here at Lighthouse. I can’t say enough about how pleased we are with the care all of the residents receive. The staff is engaging and very compassionate with the residents and their families.

Our brother has been at Lighthouse for two years. He is only 65 and has early onset Alzheimer’s. He is in the late stages of the disease having been diagnosed at 57 Lighthouse has cared and loved our brother from the moment he walked in. The love shown to him comes from caregivers and beyond. Admin staff, dietary, maintenance- the receptionist!!! All showing love and care for our brother and for all of us. We know our time here is waning- but we will always appreciate what Lighthouse at Lincoln has provided for our brother, for his entire family.

The lighthouse at Lincoln is a wonderful memory care facility. The quality of care and the staff are outstanding. They work closely with the family to ensure that the family member gets the best possible care. In addition, they offer caregiver meeting sessions that provide support to caregiver families to help them deal with the challenges of having a family member with dementia. The Lighthouse at Lincoln is easily one of the best memory care facilities in all of southern New England.

You would be well served to bring your loved one to this very safe, clean, approachable environment! Very responsive to caregivers, family and welcoming on all levels! It’s important on all Lela for my mum to feel safe. Everyone from those who clean to those who proved hands on help are very friendly.

Overall, what has made it such a great experience so far is I think it comes down to their care and their empathy. The facility, food is great, but, it is the care they give my Dad, that we really appreciate. They know how to manage his behaviors and needs. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

In todays market it is a fair price for the service. The Lighthouse at Lincoln community is very clean and the staff takes good care of the patients. They are also very accommodating to the families.

I have the pleasure of going to the Lighthouse several times a week as a Physical Therapist. I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of the staff and can attest to their caring nature. The entire staff makes sure to get to know the residents and make them feel at home. As a physical therapist I am happy to see the activity staff engage the residents in a variety of different exercises, including chair yoga and barre and balance class. These activities help to keep the residents active and engaged, which is wonderful to witness firsthand.

I recently toured this community for my Mother. I was incredibly impressed with the passion that showed with the CNA’s interacting with the residents. I also observed an exercise class called Barre and Balance. Never seen this program done before and saw how much fun the residents were having. This community definitely left a lasting impression.

The Lighthouse at Lincoln is committed to providing excellent care. The associates are very friendly & make everyone feel right at home. The building is clean & well cared for. I would be happy to recommend the Lighthouse to anyone!

My late spouse resided at The Lighthouse at Lincoln a few years ago. The team really left a lasting impression, paying special attention to even the littlest details and going above and beyond with all of their services. I felt that the staff genuinely cared for my husband, which was extremely comforting, and they were like a second family. I'd absolutely recommend this facility to anyone!
