The facility is very nice and clean but other than that Sanai was a horrible experience for our family. We were shocked when we were told that we needed to hire a 24 hour aide while my mother was in Skilled Nursing. This was brought to our attention on a Friday at 4:30 in the afternoon when my mother was being transported by ambulance to [removed]. They told my family they would not accept her into SN unless we had an aide there, needless to say we were scrambling to get someone there so they would not turn my mother away. It was an extremely stressful and unpleasant situation. While my mother was in SN it was difficult to get in touch with the staff/nurses there (their cell phone voicemails were full). The staff showed no compassion when mother passed away. The first question they asked was "when we would have her stuff out of her apartment" (she lived there in memory care).

I had a good tour experience. I was not impressed by the decor so much...it kind of felt like you were up North, a lot of heavy dark woods. Just not our style
