The Courte at Citrus Heights

They helped my mom in every way we could’ve asked for, I enjoyed interacting with them while she stayed here. [name removed]was very welcoming when we first arrived gave us a great tour! The meals were good size for my mom she never had a bad thing to say. The care staff was always so sweet and goofy when we visited. I will miss coming here and seeing their staff.

It’s such a joy coming to this place all the ppl staff clients are great awesome amazing I want too give them 10stars!! If you have love ones that need care this is the place so clean neat and well cared for

It’s a nice place to live, they have a lot of variety of good food, there’s a nice back patio yard area that you can sit outside and enjoy the nice relaxing weather, they got lots of activities to do, I enjoy doing puzzles all day long. The people here are really nice, care staff is very helpful and friendly.

This place is wonderful. Every time we come to visit our family member we are greeted with warmth and smiles....they are genuine. This has been a huge improvement from the last facility we had her at. She is happy now and that's what matters to us. Thank you to the courte staff. You are making a difference.

My family is so overwhelmed with gratitude with how amazing The Courte has been with our Grandma! We were really worried about moving her into a memory care but she is very happy and doing so well. It's a gorgeous place and the staff have been so good to her/us.

It was difficult for us to take mom out of the home she's been living for 42 years. Dementia was new to us. We looked at different homes but nothing felt right. My sister found The Courte at Citrus Heights. We toured the facility and was very impressed. Mom came here without being able to do anything herself. We thought this is it. The staff welcomed us with open arms. I never felt like I was bothering anyone, everyone was so helpful. Mom has greatly improved, sassy, making her own decisions and walking by herself. I feel like we moved in with family. Very grateful.

The staff at The Courte are absolutely wonderful. I really didn’t know what to expect having my mom move in there but they are so genuinely caring with her and have created a great, fun environment for her to socialize in. Having her there has brought our family so much relief. We are at peace because we know that she is in great hands.

Staff is very friendly and attentive with residents. They all work great together helping each other out. Always with them assisting doing activities. Great wonderful place. Would highly recommend them.

I toured this community for my uncle and observed the most caring staff. The seniors living there appeared to be well cared for and the food tasted amazing as I ate dinner with the person who gave me a tour. My questions were answered with ease & knowledge and I felt really good about this being the right fit for my family.

When the time comes to place a loved one in a memory care facility, the experience is heart wrenching to say the least. Finding the Courte at Citrus Heights, for me, is a gift from Heaven. From the moment I was welcomed by [name removed], Marketing Director, on my first visit, I sensed a warmth of sincerity, understanding and knowledge that is exhibited by each and every member of the Courte's extraordinary staff. From first encounter to move-in day, I was assisted, through the process, with expertise and kindness. My spouse's positive acceptance and adaptability to his "new home" has provided our family with the peace of mind that selecting this wonderful facility was our very best decision.

The Courte at Citrus Heights is one of my favorite places to recommend to families. This community truly takes pride in its reputation and how they personalize EVERY interaction. Especially, Monika is super friendly and compassionate. I trust that she will take care of anyone that I refer and go above and beyond! Plus, the rooms are spacious and super nice. It's a win-win!

It’s hard to find an assisted living facility that has 24hr nurses on staff. This means they can provide more care that usually would necessitate a move out in any other community. Your loved one now needs a Hoyer lift? No problem. What about insulin injections? No problem. This facility is equipped to handle this type of care. It’s a rare gem and definitely needed in our communities. Thank you to everyone providing amazing care at “The Courte” we see you and appreciate all you do!

I came to the Thanksgiving Luncheon yesterday to be with my dad, and it was so delicious. The care that was put into creating a day for loved ones to be able to have a holiday with our loved one as well as be able to spend it at home with immediate family was very thoughtful. Thank you to the amazing staff and Executive Director.

I really enjoyed participating in the Halloween Party with my daughter and my husband. Everyone was in costume, because the staff helped all the residents with costumes and makeup. The food was amazing! They provided sugar free desserts for my husband and others who are diabetic. I really appreciate their attention to everyone's medical needs while hosting a fun party.

My mom, wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch at the Courte with my dad. The food and service was amazing! The staff at the Courte is always super friendly and responsive when we ask for things. My dod loves all of the staff and has been enjoying the luxury hotel feel of the Courte for the past 6 weeks.

My mom was a resident at The Courte for eleven months until her recent passing at nearly 91 years of age. I am so grateful she was able to live her final months in such a loving, caring, clean, and fun filled environment. We always found the staff to be friendly, attentive, and accommodating to Mom's needs as well as our own. This was no small feat considering her stay there was during the worst of the Covid-19 crisis and shut down. Because we were not able to see her in person due to the circumstances, the Activities Director, as well as other staff members, always made sure we were able to converse with her on Skype or FaceTime two to three times per week. Mom always seemed to be very happy in our chats and I could tell she was really enjoying all of the activities and events. I highly recommend the Courte at Citrus Heights to anyone seeking a special and all-together wonderful place for their loved one.

BEWARE!! Beautiful facility, but lacks proper care. Staff turnover is a problem and the staff is never around. You can’t find anyone! Common problems we found were: Staff hanging out behind closed doors in the nurses office and on their phone, chatting with one another when care is needed, no security cameras for accountability, no motion sensors in rooms, everyone gives a different account of events if there is a problem with care, they are NOT documenting injuries. Mom lived here for a year and a half. During that time she had many large bruises (eye, chest, arms, etc...) no one ever knew what happened to her. The final straw was when mom fell and broke her hip in the care of 2 caregivers. We had 3 different stories how it happened and again the incident was not documented. Sad to say.... we don’t recommend this facility.

My husband has been a resident at The Courte at Citrus Heights for 9 months. During this difficult time for all of us as we remain at home during Corvid 19 and the lockdown at care homes, I was very distressed at our forced separation. However, to my delight and extreme gratitude, I am so thankful to the wonderful staff for their love and caring for my husband. They have made this very difficult time easy to bare. I visit him twice week talking on a phone through a window. He always looks well groomed and smiles and seems happy. I call daily to check on him and have sincere conversations with the nursing staff regarding his well being. I miss him so much but am filled with peace knowing he is so loved and so well cared for. He couldn’t be in a better place. I couldn’t ask for more. I am so grateful for The Courte and wonderful staff. God bless them all! ??

Pretty facility, but lacks in proper staffing and care. Our mom was injured here so much and no one documents the injuries or knows how it happened. Mom broke a leg, many bruises, black eye, and bruised swollen knee that she could not walk on. They need cameras and staff accountability. We moved our mom and are very happy with her new care. Sadly, we do not recommend The Courte.

Our mom has lived at the Courte for a couple years. Mom moved in shortly after The Courte opened and we recently moved her due to lack of proper care. We realize when mom moved to The Courte it was new so staff changes would happen, but they continue to run thru staff like water. Every position from management, nursing, care givers to housekeeping. Our mom fell and broke leg with 2 caregivers, she's had many bruises, black eye, bruised swollen knee; no records of her injuries or what happened to her. Every time we turned around it was something else. We've found up to 6 caregivers behind closed doors in the nurses office; using their cell phone, chatting with one another; shocked to see us open the door. No one on the floor providing care.
