The manager at The Commons at Stonebrook Village is so helpful and the residents have been so warm and inviting. I would like to note that yo u all did not find this place for her. You all only referred me to Assisted Living places. I found, through my own research, Stonebrook Village.

My mother is a resident at The Commons at Stonebrook Village. Everything at this facility is great. My mother loves it here! [name removed], the director, it wonderful. He is very kind towards the residents and updates them quickly on anything that is happening. The young lady that comes in to clean once a week is thorough and willing to do a bit extra if my mother asks. The food is good. We've had a few times where my mother was disappointed in the quality, but overall good. Overall, I would recommend this facility to others.

I rate all categories as 5 stars. I know they used to provide shuttle services to local grocery stores and shopping, but due to COVID-19, they have not resumed that service. My mother has been in residence since [dates removed] and is really enjoying it. Based on the experience we have had with The Commons at Stonebrook Village, we would 100% recommend them to other families.

My mother lived at Stonebrook for almost a year before her health deteriorated and she needed to move on to nursing care. She loved her time there, everything is so convenient! The building is very well maintained, clean and secure. Dinner once a day is delicious, fresh and nutritious. Activities every day and special events such as concerts are peppered in. Residents can choose to mingle in the common areas when they want some company, or stay in their private apartment when they feel like some solo time. Stonebrook is affiliated with Luther Senior Life, so it was easy to progress to assisted living at their St. John’s facility.

This is a safe and clean community. It is a great place to have independent living with a close community of like able individuals. My loved one loves the food and it has been delicious for them. Silver sneakers, bingo, band, happy hour, and more are some of the activities for the residents to participate in.

Stonebrook Village community is always well decorated with flowers, especially during the holidays. From the housekeeping to the individuals who cut their hair, to the activities directors and the chef are just over the top friendly, and always eager to please. Some activities they offer is bingo, arts and crafts. They have movie nights, as well as themed parties, The staff is always doing their best to keep the residents engaged and active. My mother loves everything about this community. When it comes to the food they serve, they are very accommodating to each and every resident. She is really happy there, we know she is very well taken care of. We are very pleased with this place. The layout is really nice, there is a nice lobby. My mom is currently living in a one bedroom that has a kitchen, with a balcony attached, They let the residents bring their own furniture with them.

We did not particularly like the Stonebrook Village when we toured. The place was nice and the people were friendly, but they only provided one meal a day. We were looking for a community that provided all 3.

I visited Stonebrook on 10/28. Staff and residents very friendly. It is located in a peaceful area near family. I have my name on the waiting list beginning April 2017 for a studio apartment.

When I went to tour the community it seemed like they were transitioning into new staff. This community did not have staff support for residents. It is more like a senior apartment. We needed assistance for my parents.

A Place for Mom has scored The Commons at Stonebrook Village 9.4 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
