Response is extremely slow. Clean. Food is ok. Not a super comfortable environment. But very nice and knowledgeable staff.

I'd say it was an overall good experience. He never ate in the dining room, and didn't participate in any activities.

They expect all people to have computers and printers when this is not the case. I struggled to set up paying my bills. After many correspondences I finally accomplished getting my bills paid. I was concerned about my credit score. I don’t like being late or confused.

We would not recommend this to a friend because my mother's care was poor as she was in her final days. They do not have enough staff to take care of all the residents. Their advertising is very misleading, leading. Want to think that they have 24 hour nursing care when they do not. We picked this, because it seem to be the best value however, with what we know now we would be never picked it again

I would never never never recommend this place The place looks clean but when I went to clean something off the floor the paper towel was black. So looking clean and being clean are too different things. On multiple occasions I found my husband saturated in urine. Multiple used diapers in the floor and toilet backed up. Even when providing medicine instructions to the head nurses u found they were making many mistakes with his medications. Head nurse pharmacy and working nurse had very poor communication. Also meds are given with a minimal amount of water. Most meds need to be taken with a full glass of water. My They are very understaffed especially in the weekend. No one takes responsibility for a situation from director down. Aides are not trained properly. Poor upper management. Management does not have respect of staff. Meals are not calorie rich. My husband lost about 20 pounds there. Similar complaint from other relatives. When I interviewed with them it was yes we will do that and this.... did not happen. Totally not true. My husband went in healthy for respite care came out in a wheel chair and very weak. One aide said he was failing quickly. This should never have happened. His cell phone was stolen. Told the director head nurse and front desk. When I asked about it each time they acted like it was the first time they were hearing my complaint. Someone took his depend ups I provided. I provided [name removed] and the bed wound be made over a doomed chuck. My husband was there since I was selling our old home, buying a new home, packing and moving our new residence. He was there 8 weeks. I have pictures.

People there genuinely want to help residents. There was a good vibe and atmosphere when we arrived. People were around and staff was very interactive with them.

This is a better community than where my loved one has been in the past; however, there is still room for improvement. It would be nice to see the staff be able to be more cognizant of putting the hearing aides in for our loved one, assistance in getting our loved one to the restroom, and communication with the family. The family's emails and calls will go unanswered and the staff won't return the requests for call backs. There is still room for improvement when it come to the follow through. There is some staff that are very good to work with though. The washing machines don't seem to be working correctly and they need a good deep cleaning.

They are doing good with the medication management. They are really nice, when they offer one-on-one care. They could improve on the cleanliness of the room. We picked this community, because it looked the best and the marketing person was outstanding.

Overall it has been a good experience so far, but we do wish it was a little cleaner that has been out biggest complaint. The house keeping could use some improvement and consistency. However the staff members have been great to work with, they are very friendly and our loved one is well taken care of. We will even ask them how they are being treated and no complaints at all. We have seen a few of the meals and our loved one seems to be quite happy. They haven't participated in the activities yet but there is plenty offered throughout the week, we have seen things listed on their bulletin board and seen different group activities. Since our loved one is not paying for nursing care, but just a higher form of assisted living care the value is just fine.

The main reason we went here in the first place was because of certain staff who we really liked but they have all left and it is chaos. Because they are short staffed, things are not being done as they should be. They have never been fully staffed since she moved in. We are constantly having to do things that they say they would be doing. One of the main reasons we moved her here was because of the activities and they don't have any going on because they cannot find an activities director. They are raising the prices 8% and we are not getting even close to what we are paying for now. They cannot even handle the people that they have so I would definitely not recommend the facility to others looking for their loved ones. We have been extremely disappointed.

The Ashford is a really nice community and we have met a lot of the tenants and they are very friendly. We would recommend this community to other families if it fits the needs and situation of their loved ones. With the turnover rate the way it is right now with everyone, we feel that we have to be here everyday to make sure our loved one is getting our of bed, being dressed properly, hair brushed, etc.

This was a very nice community. It didn't feel as welcoming as some of the other communities we toured.
We chose The Ashford because it was very clean, everyone was super friendly, and they have a 2 year program where you pay 2 years and then Medicaid takes over. [name removed] the girl who took us around was great. They are having issues finding staff as everyone is. The staff who are there are willing to go the extra mile to make up for it. I would tell others to make sure to tell others un the beginning to be there for your loved one since they are short staffed, It takes a little while for them to get acclimated and know what your loved ones needs are. The administrative staff to are very hands on. They have plenty of activities provided and they love the food. I would recommend them to others looking.

I think the biggest issue right now is they are having staffing shortages. My loved one has had problems with getting her room cleaned properly, but they're trying to remedy that. They've had a Covid outbreak as well. But overall things are good. The care is good. She seems to like the food. She also seems to really like the activities. They're just having staffing issues, like everybody else right now.

The sales manager [name removed] was absolutely fantastic he gave us the best first impression. Our loved one needed to move in within 2 days and since we were not able to get his furniture moved in [name removed] went out and bought a TV, bed sheets, and bathroom towels. He was able to set up our loved ones room so quickly and he was amazing. Before moving in we spoke with other families who had loved ones here, and they never heard a bad word.

They say they have delicious meals, however the food is horrible. the portions are small and the quality is bad. We do think the rooms are nice, we would rate that a four out of five. Depending on the individuals health, we would recommend this community to others.
