Claremont has been really helpful and accommodating towards my loved ones and family. The nice thing is my loved ones were able to stay together in the same apartment. The staff communication with the family is very good. Their responsiveness is really good when we have questions or concerns, and they are good at keeping us updated on any changes about our loved ones. There are activities for the residents to participate in. I don't believe there is transportation provided by the community for the residents.

We had a very nice tour experience with Claremont Retirement Village. The reason we did not go with this facility was because it was an older style. It was also much more expensive than a newer facility we were looking at.
This is a very good place. The staff communication with the family has been good when we have questions or concerns about our loved one. There are three meals a day served to the residents. Some of the care the community provides include medication management, bathing and dressing assistance along with hygiene care.

I don't recall now the Claremont's cost, though I know it was one of the best options my parents had, for the price. Also: the carpet at my parents Claremont apartment looks brand new; very nice.

They are very friendly. They're short staffed, like everyone. This affects meal service slightly.

Definitely an older facility, but the staff seem nice and price is reflective. There policy for Medicare was really good. Only one year of self pay and assisted living counts. It's got long hallways so my aunt has had to work on her stamina to get to the dining room etc...

Claremont Retirement Village is awesome. It's a comfortable facility, and easy to get around. The staff are friendly and know the residents by name. The nurses are caring. You really do feel like a family, and you don't have to worry about your parents. The staff are great about communication and staying in touch with the family. They offer a lot of activities that my mother enjoys. She likes the food. She's very happy there. And the other people I see there look happy as well.

I would not recommend it. It was not a good fit for us as far as care for my loved one. The business management team had issues. They didn't get my mailed payments. There seemed to be a constant issues with even paying online. The activities were lacking. Those were not communicated to me. I would ask for information to get my loved one signed for grooming amongst other things and it was hard to manage. I repeatedly asked to schedule general maintenance. That didn't happen. We had to have a family friend come in to shave him. They would find him soiled and in pajamas upon our visits. He would be left in pajamas all day. He was walking when we first moved in and within months he was primarily in a wheelchair. He gained weight while there and we couldn't get answers when trying to find out what food he was being feed as he was supposed to be on a heart healthy diet. The personal nursing staff were wonderful. My loved one was not happy there and we were not happy with him there as well.

This was a nice community but the prices were a little higher than other communities. It was really expensive and did not have as many activities and things to do as another community that I was looking at and the location was also further. The community was not bad at all there was just another community that worked out better for my loved one.
Independent living was fabulous. But assisted living was in a separate wing, with almost no interaction with independent living. They had a nurse on duty 24 hours a day, but then suddenly changed to only having a nurse on duty during daytime hours. So if a resident needed help during the night, they shipped them off to the ER, no questions asked. They did not give us any warning that they would no longer have a nurse on duty at night. And they also tried to charge us more, even though with less nursing supervision they were providing less care. Independent living was great for our loved one. But when she had to switch to assisted living, we found that they really isolate the assisted living folks and don't provide enough stimulation.
This community is very homey. It is comfortable and friendly. They have activities like special theme nights, Margarita ville nights, western nights and things to keep the residents engaged. They also have store runs, dinner out at restaurants and things to get the residents out.

It's very nice and pleasant here. The staff are great, and I get along well with all of them. The food is excellent, which I never thought I would be able to say in a place like this. The activities director is always doing things for us, carnivals and all sorts of activities. It's never boring - there's always something to do here. I love the peace and quiet. I love the area. I'm pretty well satisfied. It's a little expensive, but when I stop and think about the cost of owning a home, and then all of the extra things things I get living here, it's actually a pretty good value. I would recommend it. I'm sure everybody would be very pleased to live here.

After talking with a few places to move my aunt into, this one really stood out. It's not owned and managed by a corporation, but rather it is a family-owned business with a mission to provide quality care at an affordable price. It's really darling, from all the photos, with an excellent dining room and a warm community atmosphere. Every room has a small screened in porch with lovely vegetation outside. The staff has been very helpful and supportive, and although my aunt is not yet out of rehab and moved in, I am confident that this is the right move. They have 3 levels of care (independent, assisted and memory), so I can rest assured that she will be appropriately cared for as things change. I am very pleased to have found this "place for auntie!"

The community has made a big effort to continue activities and visits but keeping it safe for everyone. The community is small, very clean well kept. The community is also involved with the community and they are very open to feedback. I would definitely recommend this community to others. My mom loves it here and has made lots of friends. The apts are all on one floor and each has a screened in porch.

I had to put my father in a nursing home facility due to his dementia and I was only given a day and a half to find somewhere quick, so I chose the Claremont Retirement home for him. This was based on cost only. I had no idea what was involved when I started searching for my Dad's care after he was in a Rehab facility from a bad fall. The Claremont Retirement Village has got to be the worst place that I have ever dealt with in regards to getting someone to help me. They almost never return your call or they will transfer you to someone else when you call in and that person's voicemail is normally full so you can't leave a message. I have not been given any updates on my father's progress since he has been there or how his health was when he was admitted. I know they get a report from the Rehab Facility prior to his admittance. He has been in the Claremont for 3 1/2 months now, and he is in Memory Care. I would not recommend this place unless you are looking for somewhere at a reasonable price. I am currently in the process of finding another place for him, now that I know what is really expected and what you should receive from a Nursing/Retirement Facility.
