The staffing on weekends was minimal , not enough aides to care for the patients . Staff was not properly trained to care for patients especially ones with specific needs. Personal items and personal supplies would be taken and used for other patients . Constantly out of supplies... I could go on and on. I would not recommend unless the tenants can survive on their own without help from the staff .

We are extremely pleased with Terra Bella Harrisburg. We appreciate their professionalism, the genuine care of and for the residents, the restaurant like dining room, setting, and the variety activities offered daily. Terra Bella Harrisburg Assisted Living is a very upbeat and pleasant place to be.

The facility has been without a nurse for almost a year. The executive director is observed to be out of touch and does not foster a team environment with seasoned staff, communication with staff and families is reactive and out of touch. Caregivers and med techs are expected to work in the dining room, clean cafeteria, do laundry and also care for residents. Recent staffing for evenings, nights and weekends is not adequate. The business manager, memory care director and seasoned med techs need to be empowered.

The daily care staff and the Activities Coordinator are the best. The medical staff / system is the most lacking. Overall, Yes I would recommend TerraBella Harrisburg to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

It is very expensive, but they all are / were when we were looking so hard to judge 1.5 yrs later. I do know the cost goes up yearly and seems ridiculous for my mom in general who hardly leaves her room and requires very little from them. I do understand it for folks that need extensive care. It is a nice facility with friendly staff.

There are a lot of great things about TerraBella. Lots of activities, food is great, most staff wonderful.. However, particularly on weekends, there is not much attention given when calls for assistance are placed. My family member is incontinent and partially paralyzed so needs more help than most. But some staff seem to be working on a quota, with family members being told “we have already helped you twice” like that is all you get for a day. We have brought this to management’s attention but nothing has changed yet.

The location of TerraNella Harrisburg worked perfectly for our family. The facilities were nice and the staff were always very attentive to my father's needs. I would recommend TerraBella Harrisburg to others looking.

Wow! So pleased with the care staff at Terra Bella! So welcoming and caring for all residents. My comments pertain to everyone from nursing staff, to daily care givers, to laundry and housekeeping! Again.... EXCELLENT! The food is well prepared, the menu is excellent with variety and extra selections. The Activitis Coordinator is awesome! Our only negative issues have been initial billing issues (which were ultimately resolved) and recent hot water issues in certain parts of the building that still remain after approx. 3 weeks. The facility is not new, but well maintained , especially on the interior. Just appear to be currently dealing with some infrastructure problems. I'm sure this issue will be resolved soon! Thanks Terra Bella for helping care for our Mom!

Everything has been good with TerraBella Harrisburg and based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend them to other families looking for a community for their loved ones.

They are very helpful and work to make the transition as smooth as possible. They are hiring for several positions now to be fully staffed. My family would definitely recommend TerraBella Harrisburg, it has been a great place for my mother to be!

My loved one loves the food. They have a lot of activites. The value for the money is worth it. We picked this community becasue of the price, the people, and food. The community has a nice smell, when you walk. I liked the ease of getting my loved one in and out of the community. My loved one seems to be taken care of well. I would recommend to other families.

I had to discuss with the cleaning of my loved one's room a couple times. Also had to have discussion about my loved one's services not being done at least twice. This has is an employee/staff problem. No one wants to work these days, but we are still being charged over $5 grand a month! The meals look ok but my loved one says they aren't good. They also just raised the community rates effective January 1st. I'm comfortable with her being there. The majority of the staff is very friendly. They can improve by following up on what the employees are suppose to be doing and assure it is getting done.

This facility is great! They were great to work with and all around a great place. We were very pleased with them. The cleanliness was perfect. The facility had a great set up and always looked beautiful. Communication with the family was very good. We have no complaints about them at all, our experience here was very good. I would most definitely recommend this facility to family and friends!

Terrabella Harrisburg has been great. Sometimes during the weekend the staffing is not as good and they do not have as many activities provided, but during the week it is great. They have enclosed the whole back with an 8 foot privacy fence so residents can come and go outside as they please. The staff go by the rooms every couple of hours and check on the residents and ask if they want a snack such as a banana or cup of fruit. They did have an issue with their call buttons working so they completely upgraded that. It is a smaller facility as well and I think that is why the care has been so good. We could not think of a better place for mom and we are very pleased. We would definitely recommend them to others looking.

There definitely is not enough staff during certain hours. I know everybody is having problems with getting employees, but especially on the weekends, there's not enough coverage. Most of the staff are good. Some of them need additional training. The décor is nice, although the facility needs some updating. They're currently going through a renovation and replacing the carpet, etc. They have someone who goes around and cleans the rooms on a daily basis, which is adequate.

I went to Terabella and I did not appreciate how the director treated the people she’s very unprofessional and she tell lies and the people in memory care got treated like animals and it’s sad memory care patients pay more but get treated like animals what kind of company is this I wouldn’t dare put my mom their.

I feel like everywhere is understaffed right now. Anywhere you go is going to have the same issue with staffing which is affecting the quality of care. I will say it is better here than nursing homes though.
