From move in to move out, the staff at Sunrise of Wayne were professional. They communicated concerns and updates with me on a regular basis. They treated my husband with respect and compassion. I could not speak highly enough of the staff. The facility was clean and laundry done weekly. My husband enjoyed his meals, they even made a sandwich for him if he was hungry at 9pm. I would highly recommend Sunrise of Wayne.

They are just super friendly and everyone is always smiling :) The activities director is awesome. The reason I give them a three is because one they only allow one hour for the first seating to actually get in, sit down, place their order, get fed, and I have to be out for the second seating. They really need to extend the first seating by at least 15 minutes because their residents are very rushed to eat. I also give them a three because their portions are very small, but the quality of the food is good

The living quarters she has are sufficient for her needs. The ability to bring one of her cats with her. The proximity of the facility to nearby shopping, dining and other options. The location is equidistant to my residence and my sister in law, we are her primary caregivers

I was so pleased with my grandmother's care while at Sunrise. The staff is friendly, and it is clear they love their jobs. Administration is on point and always open for discussion. In fact, my husband also decided to move his grandfather. I highly recommend this assisted living to anyone who asks.

Based on our experience, we were very disappointed with Sunrise of Wayne and felt some staff members were not able to appropriately handle interpersonal or the social senior challenges that came up very well. We had to move our Mom.

The main reason we chose Sunrise of Wayne initially was because the staff was friendly, attentive, accommodating and compassionate! The room sizes at this facility are appropriate ... enough space that balances comfort and convenience. I would highly recommend Sunrise of Wayne to others looking.

With both parents aging parallel to each other and diagnosed with Alzheimers & dementia, the last few months have been filled with fear, worry, sleepless nights and profound sadness until I found Sunrise of Wayne. This facility has helped my parents look good, feel good and most importantly, keep them safe. The staff is kind and attentive!!! Their apartment looks and feels like "home." The activities and food are of abundance. My mom says she feels like she's on a cruise. Although, she's never been on a cruise. I know that she is happy. I cannot be more grateful for the care and warm welcome they have received. THANK YOU!

They are always friendly to me at this community. My loved one is very happy at this community. the community is very warm and friendly. They seem to really care about each other at this community and this is really working out for my loved one. There is a sense of belonging and it makes a big difference, they are all excited to see each other and this makes my loved one feel really loved.

This is a very nice place. It is expensive, though. There could a bigger menu for meal options for the residents. Some of the activities include current events, cooking, crafts, and more for the residents to choose from.

Our family has had such a wonderful experience with Sunrise of Wayne, everything there is just top top notch we have no complaints. We love all the different activities that are offered and the community even has an app called Smile where you can see pictures of your loved one and different things going on which we love. Our loved one is a stickler for food and she has yet to complain so we have to think the meals are fantastic. The staff members are just so wonderful and compassionate. They go above and beyond not only for our loved one but for our family, they are always calling to give updates or just to say hi and check in.

[name removed] called me this morning and left a voicemail at 9:12am to see if I wanted Zoom or FaceTime. I called back at 9:48am and apparently she has another Zoom at 10am and needed to reschedule my time. I am supposed to have that call at 12:30pm today now. I am not sure how in 30 minutes time my meeting time had to be changed. She did not say anything about changing my time on her voicemail earlier that morning. I can’t really rate a property that I haven’t had contact with yet, hence the one star.

Sunrise of Wayne was the perfect place for my mom. She was living alone prior to moving to Sunrise. She was depressed, bored, and falling often. Once we made the decision to move to Sunrise she made friends and became active again. She loved participating in their programing, ate better, and was very well cared for by their amazing staff. I highly recommend Sunrise of Wayne to anyone who is considering Assisted Living.

Pretty place, good food, pleasant staff and some very good caregiviers. However, we are still waiting for March 2020's refund. My beloved mother-in-law passed away at about 5:30 AM on February 25, 2020. Our check for March's asssited living costs was responsibly mailed mid February, cashed the day AFTER her passing and still no refund. We continue to experience a lack of response on multiple levels from Sunrise administration in Wayne, NJ as well as an office in Virginia. Our family is not only due a refund but a professional response to our calls.
