My mom had spent seven years in [community removed], and I shelled out approximately $[removed]. They did a terrible job of caring for my mom. It wasn’t until I moved my mom to Sun City Sr Living that I realized my mom was finally in a place where they cared about her. She was in Memory Care. They fixed her hair everyday in cute braids, took pictures of her on outings and texted me, dressed her up in cute clothes and charged half as much. [name removed] is extremely caring. Those were the hits. Now with the misses. They only have one big open room with high ceilings so sounds reverberated to a distracting level. The staff were hit or miss with regard to being available. Sometimes I’d call and couldn’t get anyone to answer when I was trying to get through to my mom. I think they need a designated phone manned at all times. My mother passed after just a month of being there. I wish I had more feedback. But I’m grateful her last month was a pleasant one. Thanks, Sun City Sr Living.... Read more

Living alone is not what I wanted for the rest of my life. I lived here because I had my home in Kingz Point. My husband passed away and my son [name removed] is in Texas and my daughter [name removed] lives in Arizona. After checking Senior places (too expensive in TX & AZ) so I decided to come home, sell my house + move here. I'm happy, I'm treated so good by all the people that take care of us here. Medics, aids, vistors+housekeeper. I have friends. I do find fault with the meals - too heavy with salt-not good for my medical condition. I love breakfast.
