I am not totally down with having the mandatory meal times but that's the way it goes. I like the place I like the people. This is a good place for people who can be mostly self-sufficient if they need any more care than that they really need to go to one of the facilities that has more types of care, not just independent living. It's quite a drastic change for people to come to a tiny little room and give up everything in their entire life and my situation is rather different than most. I'm just saying that people need to adjust to the super downsizing and change and lifestyle.... Read more

Everybody there seems to be very friendly. The staff are friendly and helpful. They did just change the head of staff, and my loved one tells me the new people are still good but not quite as attentive as the original ones. The ones that left were part of the community and very active. The food looks very nice and classy, and they bring out different courses, so it's nice not having all the food plopped on one plate. She's involved in workout activities where they beat a drum and balance with a balloon. She's really enjoying it. They take trips too and have been to the casino. She seems to be happy there. There appears to be more of a waiting list for requests and things with the new management, but overall things are good.

I thought Springwood Landing was really good. It was just too much money. The apartments were good, and I liked the amenities. I spoke with a couple of people who lived there, and they said they liked it.

A Place for Mom has scored Springwood Landing 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
