With a resort-style setting, residents of Solstice Senior Living at Sun City West can enjoy vibrant retirements with close access to golf courses, sports courts, and other attractions throughout Sun City West’s senior-inspired landscape.
This independent living community offers a variety of services to add convenience to residents’ retirement experiences and create optimal safety. These include scheduled transportation, weekly housekeeping, 24-hour access to medical expertise through telehealth, and urgent call systems. For residents that need more assistance, Solstice Senior Living at Renton works with in-home caregivers to provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Throughout the community, residents can find an arrangement of amenities designed to create an enriching environment filled with the beauty of the American Southwest. These include a fitness center, library, billiards lounge, media rooms, outdoor swimming pool, koi pond, greenhouse, and cactus garden.

Meals need work. Usually cold and boring..too many sandwiches. Usually run out of soup..only dessert is ice cream..

Since we offer 3 meals a day and housekeeping, we are a good option for those on fixed incomes. Staff is friendly and easy to talk with. Few problems. We also offer some medical help. Apartment sizes are very good. King-sized bed still leaves room in the bedroom. Some have walk-in closet. Full-sized kitchens. Bathrooms have many grab bars. They do also had 2 bedroom apartments available as welll. I am happy here.

My father in law loved it there. He made friends and was very happy there. Which in turn made the family very happy. The apartment was definitely dated, appliances, kitchen cabinets and countertop as very old and inexpensive. But it was completely adequate! My father in law picked this based on price and amenities.

I was in assisted living due to health issues which had impressed. The Manager came in to meet me during the tour and demanded my POA be involved. Even though my POA was only incase I couldn’t make my own decision. But he demanded she be part of the conversation and told me to come back with her. I won’t go back at all. I was treated badly and rudely by him like I can’t make my own decisions. Who wants to live where the manager treats you like your stupid.

The facility has well-lit hallways, you are allowed to have pets here, the food is good and they also offer alternative selections if you do not want or like what is being served that day. They do offer one and two bedroom apartments. The 1st floor apartments have patios for those who have dogs. 2nd and 3rd floor apartments have a small balcony. All in all, I love this place!

My mother is very happy living there! The activities and the people who work there are some of the things we like most about Solstice Senior Living. The staff members really care about the senior who live there. With the activities they have different things like concerts, entertainment fiesta days, western days. They do arts and crafts, BBQs. bingo, games, water exercises and outings

The housekeeping is by a new company, the old staff was fired for theft. The food is a nice selection and is well prepared. My loved one enjoys all of the activities, especially the heated pool. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I toured Solstice Senior Living and my tour went very well. Everything was very good. The cleanliness and friendliness were also good. I considered this facility as an option for my loved one.

I would tell others that this seems like a great place to live. All our loved one's needs are met, and it is reasonably priced, with friendly staff. There are three meals a day served, and a couple of choices to choose from. There is a full kitchen in the apartment. There are laundry facilities in the building for the residents to use. The community is in an older building that is very kept clean.

This is a lovely community, they have a pond and activities for the residents. They have wonderful staff as well. It was more than our friend could afford. I would move there.

Solstice has been a very nice place for my mom to be. With her unable to stay with us, we feel very comfortable with her staying there. The staff has been very attentive. They seem to understand and care. That has been the biggest positive. There have been a few hiccups, but overall were very happy, and Mom is too. It has been a good experience, especially for the price.

The place is set up mainly for mostly independent living. Additional services can be added through an independent provider that works with the facility. We have no regrets moving my parents there, they really like it and have been happy with the move.

Love this community! The staff truly care about the residents - and residents are happy. The variety of meals is great; not only do you have a chef's choice but an every day menu too. Apartments are nice and large and all have a full kitchen, so if you want to make something for yourself, you can. Transport is offered, they have activities and I love that the outdoor space is fully fenced for safety. It's really a resort style setting and a really great place to live!

When my loved ones moved in they were supposed to get their sheets changed and washed every week and they immediately said they were not doing that anymore. They run out of food, they cannot keep help, the quality has not been great. They are having a lot of turnover of kitchen staff. They had to do a buffet for people in walkers and wheelchairs. We have not been happy with the food at all. They do not have drivers to take residents to appointments even though that was a service they told us was provided. The things they promised us in the beginning are not being carried through with and we have been disappointed in the experience.

As of September 1st, we no longer offer laundry service, and our residents were notified in advance. Our culinary staff is currently fully staffed, and our dining room is operating as normal. Also, our driver is available and scheduled for medical appointments on Tuesday and Thursday, Wednesday for shopping, and Friday for miscellaneous trips. They can work on improving their response times for when something needs repair - they say they are short handed which could be try but it's not like w get a discount because they are short handed. That also has to go with the maid service. The dining and meal service according to our loved one is not happy with the quality of the meals

They have an actual full sized kitchen in the apartment which was huge for our loved one since they still like to cook full meals for themselves. They are really good size and well laid out. There are bars in the bathrooms and tubs already installed for assistance which is also really nice. Based on our experience so far we would recommend the Solstice Senior community to others

It was a smooth transition for our loved one, and right now the community is going through some renovations so the overall cleanliness is hard to judge, but the cleanliness of the rooms is really good. The staff members are all straight forward and upbeat. We have not been able to meat a meal there ourselves due to the covid restrictions, but from what our loved one says the meals are great. They have a greenhouse where our loved one is going to plant some herbs, and actually she approached the chef to let them know they can use the herbs. The value for cost with everything that is being offered it is really good and we overall are really happy.
